Permanent Ebon Eyes?
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

...I always forget that Permanency doesn't just apply to anything that can be Persisted.  Ignore me and my stupid, impossible suggestions.  >.<

(I have never played a caster and have never gone beyond 10th level.  Permanency and Contingency are mere theories to me, things that have never actually been explored.)

Speaking of Contingency... I should get one of those, too, since that can also be emulated by Limited Wish... Hmm... how to word it?

I'm thinking Contingency (anytime I'm caught flat-footed, cast Celerity), but I can just imagine that going off as I walk down the street and a small child runs by startling me...

Yeah, if it is OK to add that retroactively.

I think I'll bind this guy for my 2nd vestige, because Divination at will = kick your Mom in the face good. +8 to bluff and disguise could also come in handy.

Astaroth* (demon lord)(DC 20, stench, cloudy eyes; influence: must attack devils)
Abilities: Blackflame (all fire damage is half vile, Fireball 3xday, EBL=CL), Divination (as spell), + EBL to bluff and disguise, and another +4 bluff and disguise vs evil outsiders, attacks count as silver

He's from the Savage Tide adventure path.

Gabriel will spend an hour or so trying to come up with clever divination questions before he returns to set off with Arkesh. (I can't think of any right now...)

You know... I think I should have went with a modified version of something like  this warlock, with a homebrewed Sphere to give him the powers I want? That's pretty much perfect. I could take a sphere with Telekinesis in it 3 times to upgrade it to "Expert", so I'd get access to its powers at-will, and then take another Sphere which includes Magic Jar, and then enter the SwtBE PrC.

Edit: I think Conduit of the Lower Planes fits better, using the Force ardent mantle as a sphere (taken 3 times to upgrade to Expert), and the Dominion mantle that I made up above once to gain access to Mind Switch. I could give him a modified version of the Demonic Wings fiend feat (supernatural flight instead of wings, but half the movement speed). Then entry into the SwtBE above. That would give him the abilities I care about (Telekinesis and Flight at will, possession), and a few other fun things, along with still getting 8th level sorcerer spellcasting.

I guess I'm still going to need to modify that SwtBE PrC to fit this, though, as Still and Silent won't apply to SLAs and are useless, and he won't have 5th level spells, either. So maybe give this all a "psionic" spin for fluff, and use the psionic version above?
