I posted a WIP sheet in the [TEAM] thread.
I'm not sure what Affiliation my char should be. I'm thinking either Delver, P.A., or The Fallen. Thoughts?
EDIT: Succubus really is the PERFECT race for this character. The 2nd level Deadly Seduction ability combined with all of the Jester/Shamurai features and the Group Fake-Out skill trick means that every time I successfully feint someone (or multiple someones) in combat, they suffer a -7 to AC for the next round! In addition to losing their Dex bonus!
Wait. You want to be a succubus/jester? How does the level adjustment work with that.
The main concern I have with this is "What kind of story are you trying to tell" everytime I see jester, I get worried someones planning to devolve things into sillyness.
As far as the background Flay and I did some talking before it started we planned on doing a "Team Evil" thing modeled somewhat off o the wei empire in those Koei games.
The focus of the chars is the downfall of the empire an a retun t the age of monsters. Aka "aberrations" in this case. They had been pretty much killed and/or hunted t exitincton.
So they created a genertion or two of "progeny" in the twilight of their people and hid them till they were strong enough to re-emerge and "turn the age" so to speak.
We represent a secret soceity of sorts called the "Kingdom of Un"
though off the record the idea that I had was somethign lie "Tentacles are us" after I saw the dementist build.
My charater, and molochio's took abberation blood to show the heritage and we're cousins its the relation ship between Cao Cao, and Dun if you're familar with the games.
Flay is a thaumarai, dedicated to our cause, The nullbat is someone who we've met in our adventures and being a being of talent and power, we were like hey "join us, itll be awesome for you. Fuck living in caves."
I'm thinking the dementist is either progeny related, or a big fan/scholar of the "Leviathan Age" and actually tracked us down like batman or some such. Which is really rather cool.
The Wei AnalogyMy char is serious about winning, becaues he wants to get the prestige, and power to form an army eventually with you guys as generals ( I'm mean you're the only ones he feel's comfortable with sharing a destiny with)
So keeping with wei analogy, I've been looking at it like this:
The Mind Render (gonna chage the first name): Cao Cao
Molochio's changeling: Xiaoyo Dun
Val Valdis (Flay's Thamurai): Xu Huang / Dian wei
Concerned Ninja Citizen: Zhang Liao, who shares friendly rivalry wit Flays char.
Sammeth: Sima yi / Jia xu in other words the other full caster.
...and Fire in the Sky. . .
In anycase You're more than welcome, if its cool w/sir P.
Is everyone pretty much just waiting for all the chars?
None of those roles are binding or anything those ar just the parralels I had been looking at, as our party grows. I feel pretty good about the power level of the team. I've been volleying with my charcter and developing his personlity more.
Things about my Char so far: He's ostensibly the leader, and he's evil in the "Us vs them" sense, his people are great and have rights and derserve more of the world than anyone else. He was given a great burden by his immediate ancestors, along with his cousin. These things make him exceptionally ruthless about certain things.
He has respect for the rarity of things. He totally courted the Nullbat to the team when he learned of its existance, because he knew that null bat was a 1 of in all of existance. Should nullbat die: Poof! extinction level event. Valdis was the first Thaumarai he'd met so there was a great appreciation for someone equally burdened with causes,an oblgations.
There is a hidden self doubt in my char because while he and molochio are "cousins" essentially, the fact that his cousin was given the gift of shapeshifting, bothers him and time and while given the gift of mind and told to lead, he remebers the great abberant form of his "father/creator" and is a bit ashamed that he is still ultimately so human. Still, he contens himself with the thought that he may one day grow into something greater.
