Took Long Enough.
Round 17 (Phew!)
Giants 22 10, and yellow 2 are all standing on the walls, about 25’ up. They can only see into the big throne room, as the archway (which is only 25’ tall, as opposed to the throne room, which has about a 50’ high ceiling) blocks the view both directions at that height. So Harvey, Kat and Zelda can’t see those three giants, but everyone else can see them plainly; they’re not trying to hide.
Zelda turns to the unicorn. “Hmm, I wonder if you’d mind if I hopped on.” She moves to pet the unicorn’s neck, and attempts to mount if that doesn’t provoke an attempted stabbing. “There’s a good boy, such nice shoulders you have, very sleek. I’m just gonna hop up here, if you don’t mind.”
The unicorn looks askance at such familiarity, but does not stab Zelda. It looks like it’s considering just standing still, but since Harvey is the only one who can send it back to its nice calm forest, it sighs and strides forward. Zelda holds his mane and attemps to nudge him to move faster like she would a normal horse. “You were in the middle of the giants before, so hopefully that means you won’t mind me riding right to the middle of battle,” she says, while patting his neck.
Harvey, using his excellent eyesight sees Zelda on the unicorn. “Be polite,” he yells. “Or it’ll think you’re uncouth and rude. Also don’t dig in your heels too much or it might buck you off.”
Zelda - “Polite? Okay, I guess…” The unicorn zooms both of them forward to t
“Unicorns are intelligent,” Harvey clarifies as they get closer. “And they speak Sylvan and Common.”
Zelda gets red. “OMG could you not have told me that sooner?!” She coughs. “Er, sorry, mister Unicorn, I didn’t mean to speak down to you like that. You really do have very nice shoulders, though.”
The unicorn decides to accept both the flattery and the apology.
“I was a little busy!” Harvey says.
Zelda - “Okay, so can you take us...hmm…”
Kat for once having a clear field of fire while being behind the front lines, casts Seeking Ray on the giant mage up on the wall next to shield maiden 22.
Kat’s bolt of electricity shocks the giant (haha), who turns her attention back down the tunnel. She says something to the other two giants standing on the walls, who then also creep around and see the latest nuisance.
Zelda, having just arrived at the latest fight (the DM recommends the music “Fierce Battle” from FFVI ooh! Or maybe J-E-N-O-V-A from FFVII. Sorry, you get the master battle music from Secret of Mana), notices the frost giant to the left of the female wielding the spiked chain (she of the giant tiger cloak), has something on a necklace outside his armor that might be a holy symbol? Maybe.
Zelda says to NSU, “How much do you like fighting? Because I want to go after that clericy looking fellow, and I’m wondering if we should charge together or if I should have you bring me closer and drop me off. I would love it if you wanted to help me flank someone…”
The unicorn, while not fond of the idea of death, also does enjoy a good bloodbath. Keeps the horn pearly. He nods cautiously.
Zelda - “Excellent.” She activates her invisibility ring. “The plan is to charge that guy next to the tiger skin lady. Ooh, I’m totally claiming that! Once you hit him, I’ll tumble to land behind him and away we go! Just be careful of the chain, but you have four feet so you should be fine.”
Elemental 1 whacks giant 20 twice.
The last frost giant warrior bellows in rage at the stupid hill that just punched him!
Harvey turns into a tiny bat and flutters along the wall on the side that Esc and Caboose are on. He’s working very hard on Not Being Seen.
The frost giants have more important things to worry about than bats. Or so they think.
Caboose looks at greey 2 and howls for more blood! “I KILL YOU!” he yells, he leaps and attacks grey 2!
Caboose leaps through the air and so the Lady whips her spiked chain at him, attempting to trip him in route. She gets to him with her spiked chain….and yanks him out of the air, then takes another swing at him, smashing spiked chain into his orcy face!
Dragon takes a swing at the remaining shield maiden up on the ledge...and basically trips over his sword, thus accomplishing nothing.
Escaflowne sighs and then moves around and up to attack the Lady. Using a power attack as he gets to her, not charging since there is an ally on the ground he has to go over who got himself tripped.
Cackling in a way that only nasty old women can, the Lady whips her chain at Esca as well, and trips him too! She cackles especially nastily when he face plants, and then she follows up with a smack of the chain for Esca….and hits.
And… giants
Shield Maiden 19, having seen Dragon almost stab himself, drops her spear, draws her axe and takes a swing at Dragon...and misses.
Dragon, being a gambity sort, therefore swings back at her and stabs her in the gut! She collapses, dead.
Dragon- “Dammit, that was close.”
Karla - “Don’t you dare go anywhere before I heal you.”
Shield Maiden 22 (one of the ones on the wall) throws a rock at Kat, cause spellcasters are obnoxious. She curses when the rock goes...somewhere else entirely.
Shield Maiden 10, seeing a couple of prone targets, throws a rock at Esca. She misses, and the rock skips, nearly hitting the Lady, who then fills the air with screechy admonitions to Shield Maiden 10 about watching what she’s doing. Shield Maiden 10 is chagrined, not that you all are looking.
The third female giant on the wall, who is not wearing any armor, by the by, casts a cold bolt of lightning at Kat, and blasts Kat in the chest with it.
The last frost giant warrior hefts his axe mightily at the earth elemental… AND IT EXPLODES INTO ROCK AND SAND WHICH GETS ALL OVER THE GIANT AND ALSO PROBABLY ESC AND CABOOSE.
The frost giant, a little surprised, just spits sand out of his mouth instead of cheering.
The Lady decides she’s gonna try and smash Esca into pulp with her spiked chain, and does a pretty good job of it.
Gray 2 moves up a bit and takes a swing at Caboose, smacking him soundly.
22 damage to caboose….but we lost ryan making dinner buyt its 19 dm
The polar bears move up, but their masters are in the way and so they can’t do anything but growl aggressively.
One of the other giants in the rear (again, a female with no armor), who is stuck up to her rib cage in rock, casts a spell….and switches places with a nearby ogre! So now Ogre 20 is stuck in the rock...in a space wayyyyy bigger than needed.
The Jarl shouts angrily at the ogres, and two of them stop trying to help ogre 19 (who is nothing but a pair of arms reaching out of the stone at this point), and start help him with smashing the nearby rock. Those two arms stop moving.
And not that you can see it, but the polar bear who is encased in rock also passes out.
Gray 3, also trapped, does the same.
Those up on the ledge hear a low-pitched “twuuung” and a split second later a spear whips out of the darkness nearly faster than the eye can see, passes about a foot over your heads and slams into the wall behind you, then pinwheels off the ledge onto the main floor. It lands with a series of loud clangs.
Salach ducks quickly. “Dragon, hold still. We need to pull out all the stops.” He rummages through his backpack and pulls out a scroll, which he uses on Dragon. “Stoneskin!” Dragon’s skin turns a flat gray, but with tiny little diamond sparkles!
Salach- “There, that’ll help keep you alive.”
Karla - “I’m out of Heals so this is gonna take a while…” She casts a healing spell.
Dragon- “Still, I feel much better.”
Hryggda is off rummaging around dead bodies.
Round 18!
Zelda - “You know what? Change of plans. Get me to Jarl.” The unicorn points it’s horn at giant 20, glowering by the wall. It paws the ground like it’s asking a question.
Zelda - “If you can make it past, do it. Otherwise I’ll kill it and we’ll get to Jarl after that.”
The unicorn studies the situation and decides kill the giant is the best idea. It charges forward, with jumping, so it can clear bodies. Zelda waits until the unicorns stops next to the giant so that she can attack it with a full attack.
The unicorn attacks at the same time Zelda does. The unicorn rams his horn into the frost giants leg, drawing a shout of anger!
Zelda starts swinging, and the giant is surprised at her sudden appearance, and also the sudden appearance of mortal wounds all over his body. He dies, the last warrior of his tribe. Except for all the women and the Lady and the Jarl, but not really the spellcasters. Toe Cutter yells “That’s the way we do it! YEAH!”
Kat casts Scorching Ray at the giantess wizard on the wall. All three rays hit, and burn her badly.
The giant shrieks in agony, and the nearby shield maiden scuttles away a little bit. The caster shouts something about killing the elf...if Kat had to guess.
Harvey looks at the ogres trying to undo all his hard work and sighs. “Fucking giants,” he says and casts sleet storm over the group on the solidified stone. “STay where you’re put for once you overgrown…” the rest of his muttering is too high pitched to hear.
Ogres 17 and 18 fall over, but obviously the Jarl doesn’t. Also the cold doesn’t bother him any, although now no one in the sleet storm can see out (or in).
Dragon drinks a potion of barkskin...and that’s all. He looks down the ramp. “Shit, they’re in trouble, we gotta get down there quick. Karla, give me one more healing spell, and that’s gotta be good enough.”
Caboose beyond raging and jumps to his feet and yells at lady “DUMB GIANT BITCH!” He screams! Another bat 20 wasted!!!!!!! >:[
The Lady decides not to use one of her attacks of opportunity on Caboose, cause he’s just a dumb orc.
Escaflowne stands up and uses his quickened breath to breathe on the lady and lines it up in an attempt to hit number Grey 2 and Bear 3.
The Lady indeed tries to trip you, sooo opposed trip check! She wraps the chain around your legs and once again, you’re smack on the ground, and she follows up with another smack of the chain.
The lightning bolt goes a little wild, winging the Lady and the bear Esca was aiming for, but hitting the frost giant cleric fully.
Giants…
Stuff happens in the sleet storm that you can’t see. Probably some tripping and falling and stuff.
Yellow 2 tries to cast a spell...but can’t make the concentration check with a DC of 80.
Shield Maidens 22 and 10 scuttle around so that they can throw rocks at Kat more effectively, and one manages to smack her with it.
Gray 2 takes three swings at Caboose. 27 32 17 to hit; 28 22 damage last one doesn’t hit. 19 AC denies you!! 25 and 19 dmg allowed only due to dmg reduction. 44 dmg total. K.
The Lady takes three smashes at Esca as well. She hits once, by then trips over her own chain.
Salach moves down the slope and casts…”Mass Fire shield”... on Caboose and Esca.
The giants lean back juuust a bit at this.
Karla casts one more spell on Dragon. “You’re right, let’s go.” She activated her travel devotion to move to the center of the group, nearish Kat. “I’ll heal you all next!”
Gray 2 takes a swing at her as she goes by, but misses, possibly on account of the arrow in his head.
Dragon runs down the slope as well, draws an attack from Gray 2. He hits Dragon, but the stoneskin absorbs the worst of it. Dragon swings right back at the frost giant and hits him, then hits him again with his normal attack.
Round 19!
Kat grits her teeth and concentrates, casting Scorching Ray at the giantess wizard again. Again, all three rays burn her, but not quite as badly as before.
Caster Giant, while on fire a little bit- “Skit skit skit!”
Kat - “Why won’t you die already?” She moves closer to Karla, flipping her cloak hood up and taking shelter behind the corpse of the fire giant cook.
Zelda directs the unicorn to take her up on the mud rock, and to the edge of the sleet. She hops off once there. “I’ll take it from here, thanks for your help!” She takes a step into the sleet, and stabs an ogre.
The ogre (who is female, FYI), makes a sound that can only be described as “Hurk!” and the collapses.
Jarl- “Helvete!”
Harvey casts Mass Snake’s Swiftness. Esca, Caboose, Dragon and Salach all get a free attack like right now!
Dragon swings at Gray 2! And hits him.
Salach shoots an arrow at Gray 2, cause screw that guy, and hits him in the base of his neck.
Escaflowne uses the ability to get to his feet again...and attempts to set himself for his inevitable fall back down.
Caboose get beyond angry looks at the lady and “EAT AXE BITCH!” And swings four times.
The Lady is shocked at the power and rage behind Caboose’s swings. She starts to defend herself, but his first two blows punch right through her defenses. She manages to dodge the second two attacks, though.
Escaflowne activates his haste and using rain of blows starts to attack the Lady.
Esca swings a lot, but the lady is really, really hard to hit, and he only gets her once. But she has taken a lot of punishment really fast, and so is not looking so confident as a few seconds ago.
Giants!
The wall-hanging contingent, seeing Kat hiding like a puny little elf, and also seeing Karla, like, right below them, start throwing rocks at her instead. And the caster fires magic missiles at Karla, so there.
Inside the sleet storm the Jarl swings around wildly, trying to hit anything. His first two miss Zelda completely, but the third swing turns out to bee lucky for him...and not for Zelda. The Jarl accidenatly hits Zelda with his sword.
Zelda frowns. “You’re the first one to hit me. I don’t like that, I don’t like that at all.”
The Jarl jumps at the sound of her voice.
An ogre and another unarmored female frost giant make their way out of the sleet storm.
Gray 2 is gonna attack Caboose, and attacks him three times and hits twice! But the giant learns his lesson the hard way: The fire shield burns him severely each time he hits Caboose! That sucker is nearly dead.
The Lady will once again try to trip Esca, and fails on her first attempt. But she has two more! She knocks him down again, and follow up with a free attack (improved trip!) which misses, and then takes her final swing at him, which also misses. She shrieks in rage that she can’t hit someone rolling around on the ground in front of her!
Oh, she also learns that she’s too close to the fire right now, and would get singed, but it appears some magic protects her from fire.
The two polar bears move over and one tries to bite at Dragon, but misses. He smacks it on the nose with his sword.
Salach has had quite enough of this, and sooooo magic knife at the polar bear and it’s stupid face! It keels over, dead. Then it’s activate Hunter’s Eye and fire arrow into the back of the head of Gray 2...which turns out to be a confirmed critical, and so Gray 2 drops, with the pointy end of an arrow sticking out of his face.
His final arrow he decides to shoot at the other polar bear, cause it’s just gonna be annoying. But he doesn’t quite kill it.
Karla grimaces, but maintains concentration. She casts a spell, and a wave of healing flows out from her, touching every member of the party. After, she yells, “that’s it for my protection aura, watch out!”
Dragon- “Esca do you want help with the chain lady?”
Escaflowne growls, “I am sure she will be dead after Caboose smacks her again. Don't join the tripping party. Kill those bears and whatever other surprises are coming for us.”
Dragon- “Got it!” And so he moves over to fight the bear, instead. The bear swings at him, and so he swings right back, and the bear drops.
Caboose yells “Caboose kills who Caboose kills!”
Dragon- “Salach, cover me, will ya?”
Salach- “Yeah, good idea!”
Round 20!
Kat casts Seeking Ray at the giant caster (again). It hits and the giantess is again shocked. So shocked, in fact, that she goes limp! She doesn’t fall off the wall though, she just hangs there weirdly.
Kat sighs in relief, and then shouts “Karla, get out of the way, I’m going to drop the giant off the wall above you!”
Zelda strikes the Jarl three times, and then takes a side step to avoid any retaliation.
The Jarl flails around in rage and starts shouting at the nearby ogres and other giants to help him out.
Harvey looks over at Kat and Karla. “You guys want some help with the mountain goat crew up there?”
Kat “Go for it!”
Harvey casts Arc of lighting between the two shieldmaidens, careful to avoid Kat and karla. Then he flies over to Kat, preparing to help her somehow cause why not. Neither shield maiden can dodge, and so both take the full brunt of the lightning. They look like they may be thinking discretion is the better part of valor at this point.
Hryggda has moved up by this point, now dressed in the armor of the local shield maiden population, with an axe at her belt and spear in her hand.
Caboose haggaring breathe is heard but he looks at the lady and says “you die!” And swings 3 times with all his might!!!
Caboose buries his axe in the Lady’s chest, and she collapses in a spray- no, a fountain of blood!
Caboose roars in approval! He derages, and he feels beyond weak, the wounds of battle weigh heavily on his body.
Escaflowne gets to his feet again and deactivates his haste.
Giants!
Shield Maiden 10 scuttles down the wall a bit and stabs Karla with a spear, but misses. SM 22 throws a rock at Karla...but also misses. Then she scuttles away a good distance.
Yellow 3, seeing Dragon approaching, fires a lightning bolt at him that he can’t dodge.
The Jarl flails around, trying to hit anything nearby, and manages to hit Zelda once. But he has a hard time telling where she is still.
Gray 3 is just trying to hammer the stone so he can escape. He considered casting shatter, but it wouldn’t work, and he can’t see anything to cast spells at. So he’s stuck.
Dragon travel devotions his way to the wizard, draws an AoO from her...that hits. He ripostes but misses.
Then he attacks in full, but of his four swings, two connect. One is fine, and one is excellent.
Salach moves up and fires an arrow, but misses.
Karla moves back away from the giant’s spear. She casts Entropic Shield on herself.
Kat - “You’ll want to move farther than that.”
Karla moves a bit further back. “Far enough?”
Kat “Yes, that’s fine’
Round 21? Round 21! Good grief. 21 rounds?
Kat casts dispel magic on Shield Maiden 10! It doesn’t work. Kat curses. “Nevermind that then.”
She also steps back so the fire giant corpse is once again between her and the Shield Maiden.
Zelda, unhappy with her wounds, moves silently around Jarl to come at him from an unexpected angle. She also pulls out her diamonskins decanter and uses 3 draughts.
Harvey in tiny bat form perches on Kat’s shoulder and casts cure light wounds for 16 hp.
Kat is much less injured! She glances as Harvey in mild surprise “Oh! Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” Harvey says.
Caboose re rages and feels a surge of renewed energy in his body! He sees no one to attack so he takes a knee. His says “Caboose back hurt from carrying all kills.” And smirks.
Escaflown turns around and looks up at the giants on the wall and holds his action waiting for them to come down if possible.
Zelda, who is only twenty feet away from Caboose but invisible to him due to the sleet, grinds her teeth and doesn’t respond as it would give her position away. But she REALLY wants to.
Harvey cackles, but Caboose can’t hear him.
Giants!
The remaining giant wizard, not wanting to cast a spell while in melee rang,e instead stabs at Dragon and hits him twice. The stoneskin does it’s job, but he still takes a bit of damage.
Dragon replies with a pair of attacks of his own. He misses one and hits with the other. The wizard is surprised at this.
The Jarl swings his sword around, but Zelda is smirkingly out of reach.
Shield Maiden 22 scuttles along the wall and then climbs down to the floor on the far side of the storm of craziness that Harvey summoned.
Shield Maiden 10 says “screw it” in giantish and climbs down far enough to stab at Caboose. 18 damage to Caboose. 15, reduced dmg.
Escaflowne Charges SM 10 when she comes down to the ground. The shield maiden re-evaluates the wisdom of her decision.
There’s another low “twuuuuung” and a ballista bolt flies out of the darkness and slams into the ground near Dragon, and bounces into the sleet storm with a loud metallic clatter.
Salach opens fire on the wizard, first with his cloud of knives, and then with arrows. He hits her twice and she drops.
Dragon- “Dammit. We work in teams for a reason, I guess.”
Karla steps up and says authoritatively, “Time to regroup everyone. Kill that last giant and then gather here.” She pulls out one of her wands and heals Kat.
Kat nods“Thanks, Karla”
“I’d drop the sleet,” Harvey says. “But I think Zelda is still having fun in there.”
Round 22!
Kat casts Lightning Bolt at the Shield Maiden fighting Escaflowne. The shield maiden doesn’t dodge in the least, and takes the full brunt of the lightning bolt.
Zelda charges Jarl, striking him twice. “I’ll be a few minutes, still killing Jarl and his compatriots!” she yells back at the others.
The Jarl shouts in frustrated rage that he can’t do anything about Zelda, and the other giant trapped behind him is just as panicky.
Dragon- “Let the rest of us help!”
Zelda - “I’ve got it, you guys can’t see in here anyway!”
She retreats back to out of Jarl’s range again.
“She’s right,” Harvey says helpfully. He waves at the unicorn, dismissing it with thanks.
Caboose yells to Zelda, “kill quick! Caboose want help killing all giants!” He smirks some more.
Dragon, to Salach- “Lets go get that last ballista, then, shall we? Or maybe cut off the giants making a run for it.
Salach- “Okay, but my spells are about to expire, so we gotta be quick.”
Karla - ‘OR you could wait here a few minutes and I’ll heal everyone’s wounds. But if Salach’s spell will be enough, I suppose you can go and I won’t try too hard to stop you.”
Caboose turns to see shield maiden 10, blood in his eyes and says “die ugly!” Does a quick jump and lashes out with his giant slayer axe! (359 damage, nothing to sneeze at)
Shield Maiden 10 basically explodes. There’s really only a pile of mush left of her.
Kat makes a face “Looks like I should have saved that lightning bolt.”
Caboose wipes his face and says loudly “back hurt, caboose carries all kills!” And laughs maniacally..
Escaflowne turns to the wall of whatever and just watches for more enemies.
Giants
The last ogre and a shield maiden head toward the exit. From the darkness, another ballista bolt comes out of nowhere, but again, it just bounces off a nearby wall. Another ogre emerges from the darkness above heading towards the stairs, followed by a shield maiden.
Karla goes up to Caboose. “You first, don’t want you dropping dead if you come out of your rage.” She uses her wand.
Caboose looks at Karla with confusion “Caboose do what?”
Dragon- “What, are we letting them go, or what?”
Salach- “Fine by me, we should take care of whatever’s left in the sleet storm. Harvey, can you cancel the sleet storm?”
Dragon and Salach circle around to get close to what they think is a good position.
“Only if you explain it to Zelda,” Harvey says, “But sure. Anyone in there who can will probably just run too.”
Escaflowne, “We will catch them eventually. Probably hanging out with a few dragons.:
Round 23!
Kat says to Harvey “Hang on”. She runs into the main hall, dodging bodies as she goes, and ends up at the base of the first ballista ramp.
Harvey makes a tiny wheeeee noise as she runs.
Zelda repeats her charge and retreat maneuver. “HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO STAB YOU!!!” she yells.
The Jarl again shouts in rage and frustration! He swings in a futile effort to find you.
Harvey drops the sleet.
Zelda yells angrily “I WASN’T DONE.”
“THEY MADE ME,” Harvey yells back, which would sound more intimidating if he wasn’t a small fluffy bat. I
The Jarl immediately focuses on Zelda. Absolute fury beyond anything you’ve ever seen. He is covered in slashes from chest up. He knows he’s beaten, but he refuses to give up.
Dragon- “There’s another giant we haven’t even touched yet! That’s why!”
Indeed, there is another giant trapped behind the Jarl, who prepares to face his death bravely.
Zelda - “I was getting to him, don’t rush me! I would be done already if Mister Jarl Mc-Doesn’t-Die-After-A-Million-Stabs weren’t being so stubborn!”
Caboose looks at Escaflowne and asks “think caboose make leap from here?”
Escaflowne shugs, “Knock yourself out.”
Caboose looks confused “if caboose does that, caboose can’t kill” he says.
Escaflowne just shakes his head.
Caboose stretches his legs and begins to leap towards the Jarl! “Drink blood, eat axe!” He screams!
Caboose runs, flies through the air, and lops of the Jarls head, and then arms for good measure.
Caboose roars in approval of the blood spilling everywhere “BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! CABOSSE KILLER OF GIANTS!“
Zelda says, ‘I’m not even mad, I was tired of hitting him.”
Caboose touches his back and leans forward, pretending it hurts.
Zelda rolls her eyes. “Yeah, yeah.”
Escaflown moves up till he is close to Zelda and waits since he doesn’t have a clear charge on 17.
Well, ogre 17 is finally not frozen in fright, and so she runs for it, just like the last two shield maidens and ogres.
Gray 3 just stays put, weapon at the ready.
Dragon uses his last travel devotion to move up to Gray 3 (another cleric looking type), eats the inevitable AoO, and starts swinging. Even after five hits, two of which were serious, the giant is bloodied, but not bowed.
Salach moves up, fires an arrow at the giant, killing him.
Karla, tapping her foot. “Finally. Now get down here, you all are a MESS.”
Escaflowne, “I have looked worse.”
Kat massages her hands a bit. “It’s been a very long time since I exhausted my spells in battle.”
Hryggda strides up and surveys the carnage. “<Yes, I think you will be a very useful ally.>”
Zelda walks over to grab Jarl’s head. “Hryggda, I have the head you wanted!” She waves it in her general direction. She also kicks Jarl’s body as she walks past.
Hryggda smiles. “Tack gumman.” She takes that, walks over to the Lady and decapitates her with a quick swing of the axe, and then avails herself of the Jarls sword and the Lady’s chain. Zelda then pounces on the giant tiger cloak, attempting to pull it off the body while getting the least amount of blood on it possible. “So fluffy! Kaaaaaaaat, can you clean it with a prestidigitation? Pleeeeeeeease?”
Escaflowne watches Hryggda take the weapons, crossing his arms but doesn’t say anything.
Hryggda- “<Remain here tonight, for I have much to tell you. I’ll have my brethren round up the last few shield maidens from the Rift. They will not return today>”
The DM assumes Harvey or another giant-ish speaker translates.
Caboose tightens his grip on his axe and blood rage fills him watching the giant live.
Kat notices Caboose and goes over to put her hand on his shoulder. “Keep calm, please. This is not the time for killing.”
Caboose shakes and quakes with rage, nods his head and doesn’t move. White knuckling his axe though.
Hryggda notices Esca- “<I need proof that the Jarl and his Lady are dead. Their heads and weapons suffice. I have not earned a portion of the treasure, and so I will take only some foodstuffs when I go.>”
Escaflowne just watches Hryggda. His body language seems to relax just slightly.
Karla starts making the rounds, healing everyone just about up to full before moving onto the next person. She doesn’t let anyone wander off until they’re healed.
Hryggda shows you couple of caves you bypassed during the fight that have one entrance and hold everyone just fine. Harvey seals the chosen cave off, just to be sure and so everyone can sleep better.
Salach- “I have another Leomund’s Tiny Hut on a scroll, It’ll be decently comfortable.
Hryggda politely stays in the next cave over.
