Seems like Maxim and I forgot about the +3 Init from Lobinha. So that's one more of us before the NPCs at least.
Hmm.

NPC round resolved, and none of them can hit the broad side of a barn.

Zadkiel and Yuki can take an AOO against the raven girl if they like (picking up an item triggers AOOs).

EDIT: Also forgot to add the fatigue penalty in the original roll of #1, but would have missed anyway.

ooh, protagonist. Must keep alive; she's probably important.

I'd take a stand-still AOO against her if she tried to move, but I don't really want to *kill* people. And ... is it possibly going to be worth it to save it?

(Also, "Barely miss", Hah. I mean, given my heavy armor+NA+Shield, it's probably more like "Hits, goes through a joint,  but still bounces off harmlessly)

The raven girl won't move this round, moving up to the spot and picking up the mace has eaten all her movement allowance for this turn.

And the only thing that saved you from being hit was being Medium instead of Large. Regular-sized Zadkiel would have eaten blade.

I'm not going to start beating on the initiates when one of them is why we're here.

Current status overview:

#2 31 damage taken - blind
#3 unhurt - blind, cursed (-2 penalty on attacks, saves, ability checks, skill checks and weapon damage)
#4 unhurt
Sophia unhurt - blind

Anoitecer would be next, and the last of that round.

As the encounter is already mostly solved, I will keep initiative order for simplicity's sake.

Question - the girl we're after is running away right? Should someone be chasing her?

Cowering in a corner, actually. I don't think they've run yet.

Besides, you and Lobinha have above average speed, chasing them down should be easy.

The girls are all huddled in a pile in a corner of the alley. They figure their chances betting on the white guard are still better than to run hapless, unarmed and without a sense of direction through one of the seediest urban quarters of the entire milieu.

Status of the remaining guards:

#3 (facing Zadkiel + Yuki) unhurt - blind, cursed (-2 penalty on attacks, saves, ability checks, skill checks and weapon damage), fatigued
#4 (protecting the girls) unhurt

Maxim is next and may already act as I doubt that Lobinha's single readied attack will outright neutralize either guard.

Possibly helped; the traditional angel greeting is "be not afraid". And hey, it's not like you missed an entire conversation.

And that should stifle any lingering doubt for my words as there is a big, freaking angel backing up the 'sent by higher powers' part now.
Hmm.

Are you going to openly walk through town in angel shape?

Also, anyone wanting to stop Zadkiel? Raineh had hinted at not wanting any surviving witnesses.
