Ways for Batman to destroy the Sun:

Bring another star or a black hole close enough that the tidal forces rip it apart
Remove all the hydrogen and helium
Hit it with an anti-star
Increase its mass by an enormous amount and wait
Just wait

Might be Regeneration overcome by using mass drivers to launch stuff off its surface into space.

Wasn't there an episode of Justice League where a possessed Batman threw a "fusion inhibitor" into the Sun, but Flash managed to fix it before it was too late?

Oh yeah, doy, a planet should have regeneration (1/10th its total HP) resulting in damage being nonlethal, except for effects that transmute part or all of an object into nothing or a fine dust (as disintegrate) or effects that would separate a piece of the planet such that that piece cannot return to it via gravity (i.e shoving parts of it into another plane or w/e)

Uh... I believe it was Thanos who had the infinity gauntlet, and not Dr. Doom.

While on the topic of insanely overpowered comics stuff, the spectre could probably just sneeze at the sun and destroy it.

He steals it at one point I believe... that said he has a habit of stealing ultimate cosmic power and then losing it for various reasons.

In an alternate timeline, Doom seizes it but can't get it to work. Spidey then takes it and retcons the entire adventure, which is very much something Brian Clevinger would do.

Following this forum's policy of moderating, I demand this thread gets further splited into
-Batman vs sun.
-Spectre vs sun.
-Doom with Gauntlet of Infinity.
-Spider man with gauntlet of infinity.
-Thanos with gauntlet of infinity.
-Sun with gauntlet of infinity.

Bat-sun repellent
Bat-infinity repellent
Bat-dehydration repellent

I think he stored a few extra cans in Adam West's helicopter.

Well, the Sun is shooting photons everywhere, so it gets a -20(?) penalty to hide for sniping. Would it get a -20 penalty per photon? Maybe only the ones that are shooting into the battlefield (the World)?
Hmm.

Might have to account for the moon using its epic feats Infinite Deflect Photons and Infinite Snatch Photons.

Perhaps a way to take care of the sun would be Setting Sun maneuvers?

Good thing you aren't going to initiate an encounter with the Sun I guess....

....Are you?
D&D players have classically held a grudge against that burning ball of hatred.

See: Every warblade player ever.

I can vouch for this. Once, some years ago, my group decided we wanted an evil campaign, and each of us, independently of the others, decided that our characters' driving goal in life was putting out the sun. It was fantastic, and after much OOC laughter, gave us a reason not to kill each other out of spite.

Only if it's making attack rolls. Which raises an interesting question. What's the AC on the world, and do photons need to hit touch (trivial) or standard AC (probably harder due to natural armor)? Also, while we're at it, is this flat-footed AC or no?

Definitely touch AC. Wouldn't be flat-footed unless the Sun is successfully hiding or feinting.

Wouldn't need to be flat footed, Dex 0 leaves you helpless.
