Is this an idea you can explain to Meveri before she begins pursuing whoever had apparently fled the building? :)

Possibly  :smirk

It depends on her willingness to indulge a stranger who happens to be a demon...

If you don't decide anything else until the weekend, I'll assume Meveri is just watching this turn.

Sorry gents, I was certain I responded to this sooner.
The next thing I say to you will be true.
The last thing I said was false.

Grimtooth is currently in the form of a giant bat, and normally uses a club covered in fangs as a weapon. So he definitely didn't stab anyone with a sword. :P It's all good, though. Hard to keep up with everything when a game moves as slowly as this one has.

Speaking of games that move as slowly as this one has...

I'm really not one to talk. I haven't updated my game in forever.  I really need to get on that...

Ok, since you're basically not really in combat anymore, as there's nobody  left to resist you, I'll seek to update this faster  by replying to individual character actions instead of waiting for most players to post. As soon as I update my PS high end campaign tommorow.

So Grimtooth's master is a Master Vampire, right? Which means he can enslave other vampires up to his CR-2? Maybe he should create some spawn and leave them here to rule over these halflings?  :D Although I guess we could leave them under the "care" of the goblins.

Either way, he will also slake his thirst (i.e. replenish his blood pool) before our "heroes" move on from this place.

Yeah, Grimtooth's "true" boss is a Vampire Lord, and you can create a bunch of spawns.

Notice you can also create spawns and then release them out of your control later if spreading chaos is your thing.

Is it possible to reach the mayor and mock him?

Double move action to reach, free to mock, sure go ahead.

Did I need any more grapple checks to continue moving him into the open room, or is it just understood that he's a cowardly wimp? :P

Cowardly wimp pretty much. He could get away by luck for a moment, but you would easily catch him again. :p

Since the beginning of our game was on the other boards (IIRC), I forget exactly what our purpose was... I know we were supposed to be looking for one or more "artefacts", and that we were also just supposed to cause chaos and rampage in our master's name. Were we attacking the Order of Truth for a specific reason, though? Or did they just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? :P And what were the artefact(s) that we're after, anyway? :P

(click to show/hide)

And you were also given a map pointing the way. This city happenned to be on your direct path.

EDIT: Remember tough that Kristof's chief advisor clarified to you that corrupting the locals instead of killing them, or simply being subtle, are also perfectly viable strategies. As long as you get the artifact and bring it back. :p

Personally, I think throwing everything we pass through into hard-labor-slavery to goblins and the like to be a valid choice :P

Yeah, sure. And the goblins will enjoy it, too. (At least until the Order of Truth "cavalry" comes back :P ).

As long as they do it before we return, we can kill them off and burn the entire city to the ground at that point!

My work schedule coupled with a wealth of fun (sarcastic use of fun there) has pretty much killed any amount of time I spend online anymore. With that in mind, I am stepping out (or down, whichever the case may be) of every game I am currently involved in, including this one.

If any of you know folk from the other games I'm involved in, and I haven't copy/pasted this into the OOC thread for that game, please let them know. I'll only be stepping out of this site for an undetermined amount of time; I simply don't have the time to keep up with and compose messages for the games I'm in. Which sucks, because as you all might have picked up from the number of games I dive into, I enjoy pbp. So hopefully I'll be back soon.
So this is a thing. I suppose this doesn't fall at a bad time, since we just took a city. There are a wealth of things that Rao could get up to; he's a doll to play, but I simply don't have the time to give my little engine of destruction. Sorry, all; it's been fun.
I'm here and ready to keep confusing the hell out of everyone I meet.
