I look calmly at both Nanashi and our attacker. "You know, I'm pretty fundamentally unsurprised by this. All things considered."

The both of you hear loud running from he street.

"My lady! Is everything all right!"

A very out of breath Hasata comes to a stop before you two.

"What happened here!? Is Miss Kagome okay?!"

Nanashi looks at his employer, panting. "Yes, she's in the back-"

Nanashi turns and rushes towards the back of the shop. What if it was just a distraction?

"Yeah," I say, struggling to extricate myself from the inert armour. "Assuming we're talking about the girl who's easily capable of lifting a box that required my armour to transport here, anyway."

My inept attempts to disarmour myself finally overbalance the inactive construct, and I fall flat on my face, crushing the recently-defeated attacker beneath me.

"Well," I mumble into the ground, "as much as I appreciate finally managing to connect with one of these guys, either one of you want to help me up?"

Kagome walks out of the shop.

"Ah! Nanan-chan! You've been hurt! And Spider-tan too! Hurry Hasatan-chan! Do that healing thing!"

"Ah, yes, of course."

Hasata goes over to each of you in turn, and mutters a brief Buddhist chant. Both Nanashi and Spider have their vitality fully restored. Both Nanashi and Spider may heal 5 wounds.

"I'll go take care of these three, then... Find out who they work for."

Hasata drags the three men into the back of the shop, and closes the door. You hear the sound of a door locking.

I glare in the direction in which I suspect Nanashi lies.

You hear light, quick footsteps as Kagome walks up to you. She bends down, lightly grabs your arm, and wrenches you up to your feet. Your arm kind of hurts.
