Iskandar's head spins with the constant teleportation magic being used. Still, he couldn't complain, as a little disorientation certainly has "being ripped apart by devils" beat by far.

Aeloru handled the transition between planes easily enough--heavens knew how often she crossed those boundaries on a daily basis, it was really nothing new to her--but took a minute to become accustomed to the sudden new locations. At least they didn't scream "MADE OF EVIL".

The audience hall of Tymio's hall at Lisro is a manificent, serene place, even more when you've just been in the 9th layer of hell. The blue-haired queen is in a long white dress filled with pale purple flowers, and doesn't seem surprised by your arrival, all alone besides the elegant statues lining the walls, light streaming from the tall glass windows on both sides. There is no audible noise besides the harmonious, almost song-like words from Tymio:

Welcome, Vist my last champion. I knew you would gather new companions and find your way back to me. The desert warrior, the shrine maiden, the crystal inevitable. The conclusion is near and now I too must play an active part. How may I assist you?

Iskandar bows deeply before Tymio, his grand wings of sand folded behind him like a gritty cloak, and the air around him shimmers with the heat given off.

"Your highness."

Iskandar rises again, looking to his companions.

"I believe Vist will offer the best explanation, so I leave that to him."

He had offered his fealty to the General, at least for the foreseeable future, and had no specific ties to this Queen other than the alignment of their goals. Yet it was apparent that this queen was not exactly one to be trifled with either.

The inevitable focuses his will on isolating the conscious, vulnerable parts of his mind from the corrupting influence of the ancient skull held in his hands, and leaves the communication to the others.

Vist

Great Tymio, we have indeed been on many grand adventures.  I believe that Setrous may be exerting his influence from beyond the grave for such an evil is too great to die.  I believe I have devised a plan to remove its influence beyond the reach of space and time.  I now have everything I need at this point to erect the prison except time.  Is that a resource you can assist with?  I do not know what form Asmodeus' reaction to our theft of his artifact will manifest in, but I do not think he will stand idle.  While the Pact Primeval prevents his direct interference in the Prime, I do not doubt that a power such as his is without it's tendrils into our world.

Will you help shield us for the week I need to fabricate the prison to banish the Skull from space and time?

The queen keeps smiling:

Indeed, as we speak Asmodeus calls to his still too many priests and cultists, promising exceptional rewards for anybody who can bring him your souls-and what you carry.

The skull of Setrous... Indeed such evil cannot be destroyed. Even containing it would demand somebody of great power and greater will to sacrifice themselves, to become a part of the seal. You would be willing to do it, wouldn't you my dear Vist? It will pain me to lose you, but I'll make sure you're not forgotten.

And if what you now need is time, for a hundred years I've fortified my palace. I've already closed the gates and locked us from the other planes, leaving only a door for your essence that was locked as soon as you passed through. One week you shall have. I need only set up my personal laboratory so you may work there in privacy and safety, for which I'll need eight hours. Even if the rest of this palace should fall, my laboratory would last longer. Until then you should rest in your chambers to prepare yourself for this ordeal. I've had rooms prepared for your new companions too, even if all of them do not suffer the fatigues of the flesh.

"Are these your defences? I would hate to presume that you could miss something so large, but it is invisible..." the shrine maiden questions, raising her arm in the direction of the dragon-like creature. Of course there were quite a lot of things in here... if one wasn't so attentive as her, or bereft of magical assistance, you might expect to walk into one or another with the number of them.

As expected of a shrine maiden of your level, you see beyond sight. They are fellow adventurers and a liberated angel I guided in this time crisis like Vist. They have now decided to take the duty of protecting this palace for they could not find another path.

Eying the dragon, Vist looks back to the Lady.  By your leave, I would like to rest and prepare.

Certainly. Your rooms are ready. Would any of you care for me to send something warm from the kitchens?

The inevitable turns to the mage, literally stone faced, and says "Vist Farseer also requests hot oil?"

"Ah, tea, for me, if that would be possible," the shrine maiden said--not wanting to get caught by an overly literal construct into also requesting boiling oil. If the invisible entities were guards, that was fine--and if they went to do anything despite ostensibly being on the same side a s all them, that was also fine; she wouldn't be caught off guard.

Iskandar remains skeptical, though his suspicions are not worth acting on. If these supposed unseen guardians existed, and one was an actual angel, then the group would likely be outnumbered and outclassed. To act on his suspicions would be a tactical error at the very least, and so he errs on the side of caution.

"It has been a long time since I have last eaten. Some hot food would be greatly appreciated, your highness."

Vist

Vist shoots the inevitable an exasperated glance, then shrugs over the fact that inevitables likely don't understand exasperation.  Sighing, Vist retires to his room to review the scroll of Genesis.

You are served your nourishment of of choice by silent and elegant buttlers, then have the chance to rest in soft silken beds.

Yet you can't shake the feeling that you are being observed by non-benevolent eyes, and that they are studying you, finding out about your weaknesses, preparing to strike. Time is running out.

Sealed inside the inner keep of Tymio's castle, you must choose a location for Vist to start cast Genesis and do whatever you can to protect him while he casts the spell, although once he starts, whichever enemies are lurking under your sight will finally be forced to reveal themselves.

Vist

Vist sets up at D33.  Vists's all day buffs include a Chain Greater Magic Weapon CL21 (affected by God of Thunder for +1d6 extra damage), Mage Armor, Craft Magic Tattoo (+CL), See Invisibility, Heart of Air/Water/Earth/Fire, Elemental Body, and Heart of Stone.  Everything is at CL 22 except the Craft Magic Tattoo which is 21.  The DC to dispel any of that is 26 (25 for CMT) due to Ring of Enduring Arcana.

I also have a Greater Mighty Wallop memorized for some reason.  If nobody wants it, I'll swap it out for something else.

While we have a nice built in choke point at the door, I'd suggest we don't neglect the idea that something might come through the walls.
