I meant "how's that for an update".  Referring to my update in the Monstar thread.

OH.

It is pretty good. I'll give everyone else a chance to weight in before Yan says his piece. Probably Knowledge checks to be done, too.

I though one of the things here was that most reasonable stuff shown in http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=8668.0 was assumed that our characters knew, but I can't find mention of it.  Perhaps I'm mixing it up with High Arcana though...

Anyway, how about we assume the characters do know some basic stuff about the countries (specifically Amantanea, Suul, and Herx?)  It makes creating some backstory for both PCs and NPCs easier since it has context the characters know.

To a certain extent, yes. I mean, not everyone knows all that stuff in the BoN affil writeup, for example...

Brotherhood of Night: I'm not sure what Chef knows with a Knowledge (everything) base of 22, assuming I can take 10.  If it's a more specific Knowledge that I have, that just increases.

Are we maintaining the odd fact that only rogues can actually detect traps with a DC of 20 or above? Just curious.

Hm. I haven't decided. Anyone have a preference?

Important question: how many of the various groups even have someone with trap-detection as a feature?

I don't particularly mind insofar as I can't make Search checks higher than that anyway.

It looks like Team Hero has one (Fumiko). I just looked at class names, though, not ACFs/etc which might have traded it out. :P

Chef has Trapfinding, +21 Disable Device, and +20 Search.  Unbuffed.

Hey folks, I totally forgot to update you guys on my status. Anyone with at least 100 posts can check out this explanations, otherwise I'll summarize here:

This game is currently on indefinite hiatus. I'm seriously reducing the amount of time I'll be on minmax, to a minimum, really. I'll try to update every so often, but it's going to be extremely uncommon. I'm not retiring the game, though, so check back in periodically to see if something's happened.
