Inspiring pictures/artwork
« on: August 28, 2013, 10:23:44 PM »
I saw this amazing photo (photoshopped, by the way), and thought "Man, I would LOVE to see that used in a game..." So I thought I'd start a thread to put things like this in. If any mods think making a thread like this with unspoilered images will eat too much bandwidth, let me/us know. But since the point is to have a "gallery", it would be easier to browse it if they were unspoilered...

I could fill this thing up pretty quickly.. But I plan on using a lot for my own PbP's haha. Here is a nice one.. which I painted my self. :D
Some friends and I were going to create our own RPG. I was going to do the art.. but sadly nothing ever happened. I blame my lazy friends.

Last one for now... Haven't figured out what or how to use this so far. Best thing I could think of for D&D was some sort of Artificers lab.

Yes, I'm going to have to ask for spoilers. Even just the four posts there are here manage to slow down my internet on a bad day and briefly outright bricked veekie's.

For the sake of contributing, this older thread had the same idea and got a bunch of contributions. My dropbox folder linked in it still exists, as well, and is still updated regularly with new images.

Just saw this... Looks a lot like a floating island/mountain, except it's a real place: Mount Roraima, Venezuela

Everything is edible. Just that there are things only edible once per lifetime.
It's a god-eat-god world.

Procrastination is the thief of time; Year after year it steals, till all are fled,
And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

One that someone did a terrible job of cropping and resizing. It's visibly pixelated. Here's the original.
The artist also does art for Magic: The Gathering, incidentally. He's pretty cool.
