I think I'm just going to let you get going before porting too much stuff. I do actually have edit buttons now in the Info threads on the old boards, so I can just post that over at least and keep formatting. I'll do that tomorrow evening, I guess.

The only thing missing now is the story post thread, which I can't edit because I locked it previously. That sort of sucks, but since it's largely unconnected at this point in time - seeing as the only people who still experienced even the Lundeth attack are NPCs...

So... I don't think it's really my turn in any of the threads, but if you'd like me to throw more stuff in, I'll do it...

I'm not going to be porting all the threads, that's nearly impossible because I have to edit every post and then copy/paste manually. I can post links to everything for your easy reference, of course. I'll put them at the top of every new thread and also in the Campaign Info thread.

Incidentally, I just reread the entire campaign info thread...very inspiring! This game has been chugging a long for so long now but really we've barely scratched the surface of what is possible. I'm looking forward to getting our group(s) cohesive enough to really become movers and shakers...

The trouble is that the game itself really lacks mechanics to make this more feasable. Becoming movers and shakers will largely have to be a "say yes" process, which means that you'll just have to start doing it, and I'll only oppose at certain occasions: When in conflict with other major NPCs, when setting your "wheels" into motion, etc.

I'm not sure what you mean BP. According to your campaign notes we have a very large sandbox (and I don't mean just the Anauroch) to play in. Trouble is, we have yet to have a party cohesive enough make enough progress as a group to solidify any mutual goals we want to accomplish together...

I think it's less an issue with cohesion, and more an issue of driven PCs. Most of us have been dragged into this because we "defend" the desert. Give us enough time to get thoroughly pissed enough/decide to screw the desert because we realize we're B.A.M.F.'s, and we'll take right off.

Thistle: What I meant was that a sandbox is only really good if you have defined ways of building sand castles

. Which at present you don't, or at least not really satisfying ways.

An hell, noone cares about the desert, but there are people living in it and around it, and they do care about what happens in it.

Maybe you should consider brainstorming for some common motives.

The most common motivation right now is that most of you have some assets - homes, allies and the like - which are possibly threatened by the developments, which is why it would be best to get to the bottom of things. That and common greed....

Well like I said Felgryn is on a quest. I do have some thoughts about that I can PM you...

Seems more like villains who are proactive. Heroes usually need a villain to rally against...

My primary motivation for protecting the desert (not its inhabitants, mind you) is because of the Dusty Enclave. I can't go full blown dry lich without their assistance. After that, or technically even before that, about the only reason I would leave prior to that would be to spread the purity of the desert. Unless they got all "minion, go do crap there" at me.
