Golarion Cleric acf Holy Warrior
(which is a duplicate name of something wotc official, even though it's different)
http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=2342.msg315577#msg315577
2 feats better than a dmm persist divine power build, until it falls behind on spells level 10+.
Very decent paladin replacement, or cleric archer.

Monastic Servant of Auppenser prc, cut from Lost Empires of Faerun.
http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/leof_msoa.htm
Cleric + Psi + Monk , but 3.0-ish and well before Tashalatora.
UrPriest entry is cheesy on alignment and conversion experience fluff.

Divine Agent prc, is 5/10 suckage but double secret probation with dmfiat early 9s.
Early entry with Mystic Ranger or the Golar acf above.  Not great, thin but not boring.

Hong Kong is closing some of it's connections to mainland China.

Wuhan's ~governor said some 5 million people exited before the closure.

Students that left for US college Spring semesters seem to be solidly + safely in front of the infection wave.  So that's some good news.

Thankfully no (in this case).

Daniel Boone boon-docks, Pennsyl-tucky as it's recently coined.

Granpa went to the dentist, they were all masked which hadn't happened before.

Hong Kong protesters wrecked an isolation treatment center.  That seems quite a bad choice.

google :  " Wuhan Coronavirus "
... of whatever is your favorite news source.
They shut down all travel to and from, and mass transit with the CDC's objection.
It's a very big city of 11 million where Chicago is 9 on twice the land.

I went to buy a basic flu mask box.
They were out.
Counter girl says there's a shortage.
I say you mean Wuhan?
She flinched at Wuhan like it was the magic word, and said they told us not to say anything.

calling Doctor PhaedrusXY ?!

Same here, but what's the big deal?

The whatever they call it dnddoofus web site, tracks a big pile of data and occasionally releases something they think is interesting.  I doubt they've got anything or any record, about Epic so far.  Meanwhile 3.X has E6 ; accomplishing basically the same thing.

1 supposedly random Epic Boon.

What and where are these?

afb , but page 232 (?) of the DMG.

D&D 5e / Re: Can You Create a Demiplane?

the Demiplane spell creates a demiplane for 1 hour.
then when the spell expires, the demiplane doesn't actually go away.
things remain "there" trapped.

Let's suppose what this means, is the demiplane still exists,
that the spell provided easy means of going to and from.

You just have to know where that demiplane is
info which should be within reach of a Wish or Cleric 20
and then you cast Gate to get there and back.

Maybe you could already be there, and cast Gate to leave.
Still doesn't provide the ~address.
You could do all your adventuring during the duration of the Gate.

Altogether a whole lot less dmfiat than using Wish to create a demiplane.
Locating X <<<< Creating X

#5 revisit

It's the Aberrant Dragonmark feat
+1 to Con , 1 cantrip and 1 first level spell from Sorc list
and then it's the alt / dmfiat possibility
trading 1 HD for 1 supposedly random Epic Boon.
And the chance is roughly 68.6% of getting it.
 (not the 2quikndurty # a post back).

Why would a PC not take this ?!

... Dragon Lance ...

... I have looked at that, then promptly forget it each time ...

Ergo ...  :P

Commoners can do work Untrained or Trained ... but ... who does the hiring?
Commoners can do "Craft Skill" -ing (to coin a word) or do "Profession Skill" -ing ... but ... who does the buying?

It's basically time for piles Diplomancing, i.e. they hire or buy against their normal will, because skill check abuse.
Eventually everyone in a town gets along fabulously and no one talks to one another, walking around with ear plugs.

iirc - it was Lokiyn who noticed the Cityscape rules cause a whole town to riot and/or kaboom, just trying to walk across town.

{ ... when was the last time we had a good argument like this ... I feel nostalgic , really ... }

DL Master can get a knack at level 4 = cohort , leader score based on profession
DL Master can get a knack at level 7 = all Expert followers (!!) , also leader score based on profession
Oddly can be dip 1 and get either those knacks with the Prof pre-req, at those levels.

Apprentice Entertainer gets a "groupie" that only ~works half the time, but still helps survival at level 1+.

Dreamscarred for 3.PF stuff, yes?

Ok it's a little complicated and includes some PF-isms I can't comment on.

And yes it's a complicated way to do a Nova, but psi can do rather tasty novas indeed.

But I think you're over-buying your combo, more discovering a very complicated way to mix things up.
(which by the way, there's nothing wrong with doing, the optimization is in the details)

Here's an equivalent that far less complicatedly-complicated does the job :
round 1) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 2) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 3) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 4) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 5) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 6) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage
round 7) ... 12 points spent 7d6 damage

result 72 points spent 49d6 damage

Dead Cohorts ... that's just dirty = I like  :)
I had pimped the DL Nightstalker as better than doing the Ghost Racial Prog, a few years back.
Dead Cohorts (and/or Dead Thralls) is better than either almost right away.

Instructor Wizard on Int and Noble Scion on Dex, saves that small pile of point buy value, reduces mad.
Not sure how much less useful Noble Scion on Con is ; maybe a build following strict phb2 gear schedule that already needs con and not dex.

I noticed something when looking at the Leadership table.

While the "cohort level" in the table is ECL, the "two levels lower" restriction appears to be character level. So, if your Leadership score is bigger than you need, grab a cohort with an LA.

Huh you're right, no reference to ECL at all.

edit: Checking one for a lore article, I've only just now realized there's actually a few issues of the online only Dungeon/Dragon before 4E launched with 3.5 content. Note that this is actual first party stuff. Not sure what's in here (there's lot of high level monsters that seem original at least) or if these issues have ever been properly been excavated.
Dragon 360 has Demonomicon: Graz'zt.
Dragon 362 has Shothragot, who's probably the most useful Elder Evil to Implore if you're crazy enough to bind Elder Evils.
Dragon 363 has the 3.5 Epic Destinies and Epic Binder.

A lot of their stuff is either previews of 4th or fluff for 4th, so there's not as much 3.5 crunch as usual for Dragon.

They did the Epic Destinies as a separate 3.5e/4e article too, which surprisingly managed to be saved.
We've had it here (use the whole thread for links) :
 http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=4570.0

They also had a conversion document for all of the Elder Evils for 3.5e/4e. idk what happened to it (sad).

Oh "whippersnapper" eh?
You might not know about my kitty avatar's Tail ... (you might not Want to know about ... )

Warlock 11 / Sorc 2 , slices up the slots into 4 level 3 Animate Deads per Short.
Course that's over-emphasizing the skele HORDE part.

Warlock (still) feels a little same-y above level 5 to me.
Ravnica's pile of spells option helps quite a bit.
