"Course!" she says excitedly as she takes the candy and starts to eat it.  "Me name is Elisande."

First she points at the landing where you just came from.  It is slightly sheltered and contains a raft and several oar-powered and small single-masted fishing boats that are currently being drup up shore and tied down by Warsh and four other men.  "Das the landing.  It's where the Folk repaed da sea's ripe bounty.  Course is also weal for swimmin' when day dayfire rises high."

Elisande then points at the village.  It is made up of fourteen hovels with doors all facing the fire pit and none with windows that face the sea.  Four of the homes have collapsed roofs and are missing their doors and shutters.  "Dases be homes to the Folk.  Outsides mussin' haven homes!  Ye not be sleepin' in the rais do ye?  Iffen so, ye not want to be botherin' the Folk."

Her excitement fades and she looks very sad as she points at a house that has collapsed in upon itself, leaving only a small area protected from rain where one wall leans against another.  "Das me house before me mudder and vater were taken by the chill fever.  Now wees kept the lunaman there."

Her sadness fades as she gets distracted by her new job of showing you around and points at the fire pit in the middle of the village. "Da pit es the local for speeching with the crones.  Day always clean the drink.  All need the drink."

Next Elisande points at a barn at the edge of the village.  "Da is the barn.  House for yan goats!"

"And das ye smokenhouse.  Not weal aire, but good eat!" she says as she points at a smokehouse attached to one of the hovels.

You can also see a forest a ways off on the other side of the village.  When she sees one of you looking at it Elisande says, "No, mustin walk the dark wood.  The creatures gobble you!"
