Pretty much nothing, aside from expending the rituals for a class ability. So they are almost always one day a HD.

And yes,I know you like it :P

Is there really a need for Open Souled at all then if you're concerned about abuse?

My abilities last 1 round. Quit whining about not having half-a-year buffs. :P
Hmm.

It was more for the hour duration ones, and for the ritual warrior.

And just capped it at days. Poor you :D

You are basically "Tome of Battle: Caster Edition" though, so you never need to run out. Although you might at low levels. Will see how it turns out.

Do the cost reduction feats have a minimum cost?  As written I could reduce cost to 0.

Which ones?

Efficient Seed, Efficient Forte, Tactician, Elemental Warrior, Defender, Specialist, Siphoner, Battledancer, Conductor, Principal, and Torturer.

The Martial Fusillade ones don't, because they can reduce a maximum of 1 pt. So, if you want to use a 1 pt fusillade all day long, be my guest. It's not going to get you that far.

Same reasoning on the other two. But what you're not doing is actually making your attacks stronger in any way, so I'm not really bothered by the results.

1 point being reduced to 0 points was the whole point of the question.   :P

For example, Efficient Seed can offer unlimited out of combat healing (not that that's a bad thing, and it does cost 2 feats total).

Yup. So if you're willing to spend the feat investment, go right ahead. Especially since things like CLW wands are far more expensive in Arhosa. Or, rather, don't exist at all, since I haven't rebuilt the crafting system yet.

Wondering if I should convert Mage of the Arcane Order into Mage of the Order of Lledrith, but otherwise keep it more or less the same...

So as it turns out, vacation gets in the way of development. I'll be back to my normal productive self in a little over a week. Until then, I'll just be DMing.

Added a new skill to the Arhosan universe. Not sure who's going to get access to it as a class skill. The only appropriate class, the Totem Master, doesn't necessarily fit. There's one or two races who could fit in quite nicely with it as a class skill though.

Made Animalism a class skill for the Totem Master and Anaraf Hunter.

Added in a new feat and alternate class feature for the Champion.

Changes made to the setting - PHB races have been ejected.

Rough analogues:
Human - Hania (TBD)
Elf - Yn Gyntaf
Half-Orc - Heginyn/Low Caste Biyou
Dwarf - Tokunnir (Runecarver race, dwarven variant)
Halfling - Pybyr
Gnome - Tro Ar Fyd

People with existing PCs are not affected by this change. It's just for new ones.

Playable races without mechanics:
Haugars, Cuall, Astalch, Anaraf, Cynndeir, Byd Nitur.

Also, I take race requests, and will be inventing races for magic systems and so on as well.

Are Hanians basically humans, then? Or are they going to be noticeably different?

I'm sad because I have a really cool idea for a race, but I don't think it fits in the Arhosa lore...  :(

They will be very close. It's more a matter of flavour than anything dramatic.

What's the idea? None of the Necromantic races really fit in with the lore, and none of them have an established home region. Yet, there they are. :D

Shush.  :lmao

Ok, so none of them were created with a home region, though Marleath is the best fit.
