Is there any way of doing an Indent in posts?

I use {tt} (teletype, makes it a fixed-width font) tags (obviously with square brackets) and five spaces, though I presume there are far easier ways to do it.

     Looks like this.

I use the preformatted text option anytime I want to do something like that.

I wouldn't call that easier though.
Testing.
Nope.  Apparently that code from other places doesn't work here.  Apparently doing space 4 times can work, or there's copying from Notepad (or Notepad++)

    Testing 4 space indent.
