Are there any extra costs to getting corpses for animate dead use, besides the obvious black onix cost?

Re: Feats...

When in doubt, I resort to:

Martial Study, Martial Stance, and Shape Soulmeld.  They are simply the most versatile feats out there besides, like, Leadership.

Three questions in here for the general public:

Sooo... I have 1400GP and a 1st level feat after the minor re-build. Now, one thought for the $ is to have two sets of the material component for Revivify. Since TM has a Cleric / Bone knight to cast it (in theory, though, since he'd have to prep it).

Question #1: But I don't really have any thoughts for what to do with the 1st level feat. Can't think of what manouver / soulmeld would even be worth it for me. Or anything else for that matter. Thoughts?
Well, Athach Gauntlests give you bonuses to ranged attack rolls...?

Quote
Question #2: And, I'm kind of curious what ya'll think I should do with the $. Thoughts?
I'd have to look more deeply into this.

Quote
Also, just realized: I need to choose two other weapons to have as my preferred. Since I'll only ever be using one weapon... IDK. Unarmed, just in case?
Question #3: So what do you guys think I should have as my other two preferred weapons?
Still a good idea to have a melee weapon, just in case.

@ SirP: Part 1
Question #A, Does IHB actually have to change some piece of gear, or can it be used to just change stance as a free action?
Actually change a piece of gear.
Quote
Question #B, Can it be used to just change stance by claiming something so stupid as "I change out my bow... for my bow. Putting it away, then pulling it out, and changing my stance in the process".
No, has to swap for something else.
Quote
Question #C, If neither of the above, could I just buy another Buckler, and use changing it out as the 'gear switch' required in order to change my stance w/o eating my swift action?
Yup.  :)

@ SirP, Part 2, Trollbane Edition

Trollbane, this block is all about it. Dungeonscape, page 37.
X) Is this a poison, or is this an alchemical item that behaves like poison? i.e. Does immunity to poison provide immunity to this? I've seen this ruled both ways, and I'd like to know your ruling here.
The latter.
Quote
Y) What kind of action is it to apply a dose? Both Trollbane and Poisons mention applying before combat, but not what action it would be in combat.
Z) How many arrows / bolts / other ammo can one dose of trollbane cover?
Alchemical weapon capsules

Anyone wonder why water costs 50gp? Was looking through the tables in the MiC: Universal Solvent is 50 GP. :D

I also had some questions in the second post.

Ignore the one about using Falling Star with Mach. Mist. upgrades. Stone Dragon needs [Magitech] weapon to use, so I am guessing Falling Star needs them too.

So revised questions:

1) How do Martial Maneuvers that give extra damage dice to each arrow or a bonus to attack, interact with the splitting enchantment?
For example, this one.
(click to show/hide)

Does the first arrow's +10 to hit go only to one arrow, or since the arrows splits into two identical arrows they bot get +10?

2) How does crafting with special materials work? How do you calculate base material cost?

3) This maneuver allows me to use an alchemical item that affects one person and instead affect an area.
(click to show/hide)
Can I use it with, let's say Ghostblight, and affect everyone's weapons in the area of effect?

4) I read somewhere, not sure where, that you can create poisons with Craft[alchemy] if you take a -4 penalty on the roll.
Can you?
If you can, can I use those poisons with the maneuver above?

That's because water is not an universal solvent. It will only solve polar substances. That's why you need soap to wash your hands.

Reminds me of that one episode of Breaking Bad where they dissolve the guy's body in HF acid... and dissolve the bathtub with it.  :lol

Speaking of Universal Solvent... why is this a magic item, instead of an alchemical one?

Okay, let's see here.
You have 7 current games that have you as either a DM, or a co-DM. Some, like this one and High Arcana, have a lot of players, and are split up into many groups.
You are in enough other games as a player that just trying to count them would be daunting. Oh, wait, 'your things', you have 14 characters in-play.
You have more homebrew projects currently in the works than I care to count as well. And that's considering the fact that I'd just have to go down the list in your Sig-thread to do so. Still to many.
This game alone spiraled up and up in player count, way beyond what you'd originally expected / allotted for, and the conversations have moved at lightning speed.
And then let's not forget your job, your wife, or the fact that you have a new youngling.
Dude, my questions can wait. I'll re-post till you get to them, just so you don't miss them. You. are. freaking. busy.

Not really. Various acids would be closer.
The name is a lie, though. Universal Solvent isn't technically an universal solvent, either. It's just a magical substance that happens to dissolve, specifically, tanglefoot bags and sovereign glue.

Seriously, one would think a Universal Solvent could dissolve the universe or something.   :shakefist

Figure out the total market price of the item, then you spend 1/3 of that.

I have no idea if you can or can't.  Where are the poison crafting rules? They aren't on the SRD as far as I can tell.

The rule for using Alchemy in place of Poisonmaking for poison is found in the Book of Vile Darkness, page 45.  Quoted below:

Quote from: BoVD
Using the Alchemy Skill: Characters with the Alchemy
skill can substitute it for Craft (poisonmaking), but doing so
imposes a –4 circumstance penalty on checks related to poisonmaking.
