I'm getting that, too.

On the "unread posts since your last visit" page, I'm getting "Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in /home1/howsyou1/public_html/minmaxboards/Sources/Load.php(207) : runtime-created function on line 3" at the top and the text size of the thread links is something like 50% larger than normal. In threads, the quick edit button doesn't seem to work, too.

At a quick guess, either the website's PHP version got updated to version 7, which removed some of the backwards compatibility (specifically, the /e modifier in preg_replace()). Thankfully, the error messages not only indicate what and where the problem is, but also how to fix it. It's probably all of a 2 minute job once someone with access can get to it (although depending exactly on how it was used, it might be more complicated).

Just encountered this myself on logging in. Currently waiting for Prime to come online.

It is possible, however, that Prime himself doesn't have code-level access, in which case... I don't know, we'd have to take it up with our provider or try to get an update for the forum software or something.

I am. Board looks funky and big, textually. Thought the zoom was off on my browser or monitor at first.

I've been fucking with my browser for five minutes trying to figure out why the board looks wrong but everything else is fine...

I even restarted my laptop.

Nah, people keep going back in time to stop him. Just give him a moment, it's inevitable.

Same here, but only on certain pages. Mostly just my new replies page, so... ?

The Preview Post function seems to be broken for me, it never moves past "Fetching preview...".  Is anyone else encountering this?

The quick edit button at the bottom right of posts doesn't work either, nor do the Insert Quote buttons when writing a post. It's probably related (the error message is likely screwing up the response the server sends, making it unusable by the browser-side Javascript), but it's entirely possible that something else in there broke with the PHP update. We plebeians on this side of the boards won't know until the more obvious issue gets corrected.

+1 to Soro

Current Prime killed Future Prime, and went back in time to tell Back Prime about all of this, who smirked and killed Current Prime, having already been warned by Future2 Prime.  For those who missed episode 4, Back2 Prime is secretly Prime-Prime and me telling you is Half an X-mas present, and Half a spoiler ... sucks to be you, to figure out which you belong to.  What Back Prime now Current Prime has to do with this  episode, remains to be seen.

 :twitch  :D

Getting the Deprecated on everything now, and slowing the board loading time.

By the way, in case anyone cares, the old Brilliant Gameologists boards have the same problem, although obviously some settings or scripts are different (probably just set to halt on that kind of error instead of skipping past it and powering through) so it won't load pages at all.

8192: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead
File: /home1/howsyou1/public_html/brilliantgameologists.com/boards/Sources/Load.php(198) : runtime-created function

If you mean backing up BG, it's a little late for that. I haven't found any pages that actually load. Besides, it's been, what, 5 years since we migrated, and about 3 years since we got the "1 year to final shutdown" warning? Shouldn't any backups be done by now if they were ever going to be?
