Homebrew Optimization Contest #1: Topic?
« on: December 15, 2011, 01:55:19 PM »
Note that there will be further contests (unless this bombs horribly), so we'll surely get to all of these.  Just vote for a good one to start with!  Which would you like to optimize first?

Brought to you by the AD HOC* committee members, full list T.B.D.

Note: For those classes posted on GitP, I'm giving the creator a week to approve or disapprove of their inclusion in the contest.  If they decline or don't respond, those options will be removed.

Funny - the first three votes are exactly the classes I'm trying to decide between :)

I'd like to submit my Kensei of the Five Rings as an eventual topic.

There will be a place to do this... but in general the rule is that you can't nominate your own work.

Take the top contenders for a vote off just across them.

Given that edits to the material mid-contest aren't allowed, let me know immediately if the spellsage gets picked.  I'm currently in tweaking mode, and there's a lot of material that spellsage builds could draw on.

Given the amount of related material, I don't think you'll want to quote all of it.  I could toss together a quick-and-dirty PDF in such a case.
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

The votes are rolling in, not much campaigning I guess. We're doing this like civilized people. :)
