You guys okay with me going as a Cyfnewid Totem Master? We can still go with the survival of the fittest theme.

It's gonna be strange for me to play something low-leveled again.

Unfortunately I really can't access my account on the old BG boards and I was unable to save them before the boards died.

Those two are more or less the only stuff we discussed except for some discussion regarding the classes themselves and some missing spells seeds you have like seeds for Detection and Dispelling.

I'll what I can recall from memory.

I don't have access to the exact rulings we did since those were stored in PMs that I now can't access over at BG.

Now that's a name I haven't seen in a while. How ya doin' Strat?

I'll see if I can remember what we discussed regarding Epic Historians.

Are there any ways to have a caster's arcane and divine caster levels to become the same level even if they're not theurged or something else?

This is for a gestalt character I'm building that's going Wizard X/Asstd. PrCs X//Divine Caster X/Asstd. PrCs Y where the progressions on each side is not equal to the other?

What's the status of this project? This was a great idea from the previous board and I'd hate to see it go.

Managed to miss that but still. 8 bonus feats and you require 11/12 to have 4 eras at once means you cant have 4 eras at once in most cases if you cant take them as feats as well.

You only need the feats for Martial Eras while Arcane and Prayer Eras only need a Knowledge check

and?

If you attune yourself to two techniques you can only have two eras to each. Ancient Martial Eras require at most 3 feats to enter with most of them having 2 or no prerequisite feats needed. A couple of eras also share some prerequisite feats. Some eras also cater to very different playstyles (THF, TWF, Archery, etc.)

The Bloodseeker's Joy era has the potential for an NI attack loop at high levels as long as the attack hits.

This is more or less due to the interaction between the second effect and the Savage Fury feat. Every attack that deals at least 10 damage to your enemy results in another free attack.

Hey, I didn't notice that, good catch.  So you'll likely have no more than 19 attacks (assuming a 95% chance),  but still that's too many.  Hm.  I can probably just put a limit on it, or maybe a limit per opponent?  I dunno.

Yeah. I'm gonna play one using the rules from the original thread in a level 30 game and I don't want to make the DM angry by bringing in a NI loop. How about limiting it to the number of extra attacks you can get via Primeval Fury (which is also a pre-req feat for that Era).

Btw, you can take the Warrior of Olden Days feat so that you can take Ancient feats as general or fighter feats plus an additional +2 HP for each Ancient Feat you have.

There's also a discussion at around page 5 or 6 of the original thread that rated the Historian as a Tier 2 while an Echocaller could reach Tier 1 through multiple full-round actions per round and the Chronomancer was Tier 3

IIRC, I was able to contact Strat some time before the fall of the previous boards and we made a couple of Epic Feats for the Historian. The problem is that they were stored in my PMs over there and I can't access them anymore.  :(

It costs two Epic Feat slots to bind an Extra Epic Vestige though. Those two slots can be used to bind instead two regular Vestiges and I'm not sure if it would be kosher with the DM to add a daily Dark Chaos shuffle to my daily buff regimen.

I'm actually taking Xion the Fellblade from a little further down so I can have Daelkyrs and Kashalaq Quoris under my thumb.

Would taking say the Cephalocalypse (whose Stun I can easily acquire from Zceryll) or Siberys be better than any 2 normal Vestiges regardless of situation?
