Well, now that they've ran out of Eberron material, it seems that unnecessary subsystems (http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/ships-and-sea) are back in the menu bajs!

They even got reused DMG rules for dealing with the crew.

That can be used to grok some Spelljammer homebrew, but its not like it couldn't be done already, without these padding rules and even a little better...

Eberrons, like Spelljammer, involves a lot of ships.

It's a good way to hit them both up.
