To clarify you literally turn Prestige on and hit search, 841 results. Then if you're picky you can subtract for every duplicate found for a more exact number.

However, after you subtract duplicates you could add Dragon Magazine prestige classes that weren't reprinted.

I've done some searches before

but yeah the results are always noisy !

realmshelps goes 1300+, with descriptive text.
dndtools has 3 bards and 2 epic bards, etc.

Did find google drive access totally by accident
to Nunku's list ... he catalogued : 1477 .

So that's an average of 5 or so, per base class.
