So are the "Completes" not included in the allowes sources? I had a couple of things from CPsi that I'd like, but I can live without them if not.
1.  Completes are not included in allowed sources.  2. They made a "Complete Psionics?"   :p

OK, what about the Practiced Manifester feat? Can I use that?

Because I'm not aware of it being reproduced in any sources on our allowed list, I'm saying no.  If I'm misremembering this and it was reproduced in one of the sources on the allowed list, you may use it.

Nah, it's not reproduced anywhere else. I realize now that Practiced Spellcaster likely isn't allowed either, as it was from the Completes also, wasn't it?

OK, a couple more questions on psicrystals:
1) How do you replace one if it is destroyed?
2) Do they get feats?

A new one, identical in every mechanical way to the previous one, automatically poofs into existence 24 hours after the previous one becomes a fine white mist.

They get feats - one for every 3 HD - if you can advance them beyond their automatic advancement from your character's level-ups.  If their only method of advancement is the fact that your character gained levels, they don't get feats.

I'm not sure what you mean by the second part. Their hit dice line says "as master", and as far as I know there is no other way for them to gain hit dice. So I guess the answer is "no, they don't get feats", based on what you said.

No XP (or other) cost when they are destroyed and poof back into existence?

I was not discounting the possibility that you had found some other method of advancing their HD (I haven't, but that doesn't mean someone didn't), and trying to be thorough in my answer with that in mind.

No XP or other cost unless one is involved in making it mechanically identical to its predecessor; in most cases, there should be none involved.

Would you let me use jungle goblin from the SRD instead of the original? I couldn't tell in the racial variants were in play or not...

They're case-by-case; jungle goblin is fine.

Possibility of the Xeph Soulknife alternate class features? From the same book as the paragon class.

While I'm letting in the material for the Paragon class in, I'm going to otherwise limit materials to those allowed in the initial listing.  Sorry.

How would you like to handle the changes to goblin paragon then to bring it in line with the jungle goblin? Using it as is would remove a lot of the penalties associated with jungle goblin otherwise.

Edit: Here is a prelim character sheet. Would the group mind making comments on it. I haven't made a martial adept before, so I wouldn't mind the help.

So approximately how many people are on this ship? And did they take non-sentient species as well, like Noah's Ark?

Roughly a thousand, and no.  Noah's Ark didn't have the "Create Water" and "Goodberry" spells available.   :P

What do we know about the world we're heading to? I'd assume a huge amount of the conversations going on during the trip there would be about this. So it should have certainly come up. :P

Existing animal and plant life? What about sentient species? Climate? Any odd "planar traits" that are known about?

Edit: Sheet is pretty much complete, including a background. Let me know if anyone spots any errors or inconsistencies, or has any suggestions.

  • On board, you find most discussions of the world you're headed to refer to it as "Osa."
  • So far as is known, Osa is chilly but habitable; 17 degrees Celsius appears to constitute a "balmy summer day" from observable evidence (remembering that no known visitors to/from Osa were found anywhere on Toril or Eberron).
  • Plant and animal life is roughly analogous to what you'd find on those worlds within that given climate range, including at least one Dragon.
  • A significant amount of precipitation appears to come during the colder time of the year.
  • There is evidence of Raptoran and Killoren habitation, in addition to a small, bearded race that may be Dwarves or Gnomes who are predominantly subterranean.  Ruins sighted are of a scale to indicate at least one-time presence of Giants of some sort.

I'm just waiting on how you'd like to adapt the paragon to jungle goblins and I can finalize the character.
