Div Rank of 1 ... has to be granted in person, but can be withdrawn wherever.
The 9th level (sp) powers are all over the map. Hello high levels.
Some of the other divine abilities are very good 9th level spells.

T.O. loop version of this is:
a) grant DvR 1 to dude
b) withdraw DvR from dude, who is now DvR 0
c) repeat with new dude
d) army of DvR 0 dudes.
e) still not as good as some 9th level spells

Div Rank of 0 ... then technically can be done // "ought" to not cause the loop.
The old epic board thought this worth an LA+6. C.O. didn't think so.
Polymorph might be stronger. Most 8s are easily. Perhaps mid-game?
Level 1 PC + this = who knows what "level" the pc is , and good luck with EXP.

Mortal can be a Remote Sensing node for a Deity.
I'm not sure this really does anything for a PC.

Mortal might be a Familiar for a Deity.
Get all the normal Familiar goodies but one you, via the Deity's class X.

The 4E deck is terrible.

... roll up to see what random madness occurs, and then go with the results.

One of the Cheat spell descriptions references The Deck as being a game of chance !!
So this is dead on ; but it might be limited to 3.0 or 3.5 only ... I'm not sure about this part.
Re-roll type spells work on games of chance.
That'll cut the bad results down to 25%.
Massive Divination trickery should reduce it more.

There was a C.O. argument about why Augury doesn't work with The Deck.
Where that "there" happens to be these days = idk.

Some of the current Domain stuff is way too weak OR way too powerful.

C.O. builds obsessing with mechanics, just makes this obvious.

Taking one step out from this ... Deities "should" have more of the own goodies.

But it's a whole lot of work ; like way waayyy too much work.
Easier would be to collect any one deity specific things in one location,
and give one little mechanic that works better the more Thor-ish material used.
I get +45 Lightning damage once a day (ex) = happy.
