Classiforum Device?  I guess that must be what they call Pokédexes outside of Edin.

"Oh, yes.  I just haven't seen those types of Pokémon before."  I gesture at Xavier and Felix.  "Where did you find them?"
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

I relax a little.  "Would you like to meet my Pokémon, then?  They're already my friends, though I just met them today!"

My beret wiggles indignantly.

"Okay...!  Go, Shroomish and Drifloon!"  I send out the adorable waddler and the mischievous bobbler.

Period: Hello Shroomish!  Hello Drifloon!  It's nice to meet you!
Period: Oh, right, the talky... classiforum!

Period classifies the Shroomish and Drifloon.

Period's pokedex jingles as it registers one pokemon, then another.

Beatrice's pokedex rings, showing the info on the Unown.  "When alone, nothing happens. However, if there are two or more, an odd power is said to emerge.  Psychic Type, try using Dark or Ghost."

Suddenly, the pokemon out of their pokeballs (all of them) look around.  They huddle close to their mistresses.

There's a weird feeling that both of you get in the pit of your stomachs.  It's a weird feeling of just how quiet it got down here all of the sudden.  You feel a shaking underneath your feet and the lights flicker on and off.

The shaking becomes more violent, and you hear distant shifting of rock.  Finally, there's a loud crash nearby and the lights go out.

You are in total darkness for just a moment.  The shaking seems to have stopped.

In the distance you hear a whirring noise.  the two lamps above you return to light, but they are emitting a poor quality light.  You can see a red light turn on (Beatrice: Behind you) (Period: Further down this path) and there is a red light that turns on over the door that Beatrice entered through.

"What's going on?"  I frantically huddle protectively around Shroomish and Drifloon.

Period looks like she is thinking hard.

Period: Hmm, maybe some rocks shifted or something.  We are in a cave; that sort of thing can happen.  It's happened to me a couple times in the older parts of the ruins.  So I'm pretty used to it.
Peroid: It shouldn't be too bad.  Lets follow the path and see if anything's blocked off.

"Th...thank you."  I follow her, sighing with relief.

You continue down the hallway.  You hear shuffling coming from all around you.  It seems that...  Some pokemon have become restless.  You see several pokemon begin to approach from in front and behind you.

Perhaps...  you should get ready for a combat.

I stare at this little dynamo.  "No, that's fine!  I need practice, anyway!"
