D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder / Soul (Rules)

The Deck of Many things Void card says "Body functions, but soul is trapped elsewhere."

Q: Is there anything else in the game that directly effects the soul of a PC? Is there any way to remove your soul and have your body still function normally? What are the rule consequences of killing someone who doesn't have a soul? Can you detect someone who is soul-less?

  • Mastermind for the "acting/imposter" abilities
  • Great Old One for the telepathy
  • Sorcerer for subtle spells

D&D 5e
Only Printed Book Rule Materials (no UA, Online content, Homebrew or otherwise)
No monstrous races (dragonborn, tielfling, etc.)
Rolled Stats: 18, 16, 15, 11, 10, 8
Starting at 1st Level
Primarily City Setting

Desires
  • Warlock blasting ["Gunslinger"]
  • Ability to become/imitate/impersonate anyone [Imposter]
  • Cast spells without being detected [subtle casting]
  • Don't want to go Bard even though mechanically it makes sense

First Thoughts
Stats:
Str 7
Dex 15 (+1 human) = 16
Con 16
Int 10
Wis 11
Cha 18 (+1 human, +1 actor) = 20
Race: Human (Variant) Feat = Actor
Class Build: Rogue 2/ Warlock 3/ Sorcerer 15
Thoughts: Human for the Actor feat for the impersonations, Rogue 2 for the skills and the cunning action, Warlock 3 for the unlimited disguise self and blasting "gunslinger," and Sorcerer 15 for subtle spell. I want to go Half-Elf for the extra skills and darkvision but then I'd have to wait so long for the Actor feat. 

Thoughts? Suggestions? Alternatives?

Winged Tielfing Warlock whose best buds with a Disciple of Goodberry Cleric and a Lore Bard?
You'd prefer a warlock 1-10 over a wizard 1-10?

Here is a link on how to get around geographical restrictions if you live outside the US and want to buy US region audible items. I imagine some of the methods might work the other way around or for other geographical arrangements. But I cannot vouch for any of it, YMMV.

Also, don't forget to hit up your local public library for free books on CD and eMedia if that works better (eBooks/e-audio-books). Further, if your local library does not have a tittle or format you need they can often get it from other libraries outside of your system via InterLibrary loan. You can use WorldCAT to check and see if one is close by and bring that record into your library and see what they can do. In WorldCAT I'm seeing many, many, US libraries with titles in this series in Audiobook on CD available.
