Phaedrus, shall I just assume that message was for Fina, as a means of getting inside intel on the lady? You didn't mention who you were speaking to.  :P
Yes...

Wooohooo, we're totally kicking group 1's asses on page count!  :P

That being said, I know nothing about tracking, but I'll give it a look.
I'm here and ready to keep confusing the hell out of everyone I meet.

And the dire wolf?

Oh, and is there any way I can get him to "regain" his animal companion bonuses. That he lost when my master died
Smile beautiful. It's not as bad as you think.

The Dire Wolf you just have the basic skill-set from the book for, and would need re-done.

Short answer: Not really.

Understandable, just figured I'd ask. I went thewhole animal master route, as it seemed a fun character concept, and gave me an easy way to spend my wealth without magic items.

This little bit of a thing here with Fina... really makes me glad that every NPC has a full backstory. Every. They have a story long before they have a name.

My internet time is going to be very spotty for the next 2-3 weeks, just an FYI. So if you don't see me for a couple of days, that's why...

It's cool. I've said elsewhere that RL has decided to dump on me all at once, so for the next week or two, while I might be on, I might not necessarily have the wherewithal to manage long posts.

It's been a problem for this past week already. Stuff I want to get done here, but RL won't let me.

A nat 20 + three successful aid another checks from the dogs should at the very least help find something.

If there is anything to find, you have probably found it.

Korth indicates his find to the party, "What do you make of this? Anyone have a sword or something that could wedge into this gap? I'd try it myself but I don't carry such things."

Shapesand does work wonders. And there are a few people that have it.

It just takes a bit of thought to figure out what is going on here.

Yup, I'm* fully expecting someone to shapesand up the appropriate tool, though I could probably use pitons and rope to achieve a similar effect if necessary.

I also wanted to open up the subject for discussion rather than jumping to the "open trapdoor and possibly alert people to our presence" portion of the proceedings without consulting the party first.

*I the player, that is. Korth doesn't know his party mates are carrying shapesand and probably wouldn't be all that familiar with the mechanism involved here (do Dragons have sewers?), Engineering skill notwithstanding.

This is pretty much why I didn't just advance under the assumption that people would just jump on in.

Since you said it's pretty easy, can taking ten on engineering for an 18 get it?
Yes.

Also, I don't know what those other rolls are for, but two out of four being nat ones is some pretty bad odds. I think the local dice roller hates you. That, or just statistics.

So are we going in or waiting for Fina to join us first? Is Fina going to join us?

Flay's character said he wanted to go first. If not him, I'm happy to (I don't have his stealth abilities but Dragon Senses could be handy.)

If you wanted to post saying "I tell Fina what's happening" you could, or we could take that as a given. I think Venn is busyish at the moment. If so, it'd be easiest for Fina to hang out at Mrs Yanques and come join us at some unspecified and yet convinient later time.

I have been busy, indeed. Not sure if there's enough to investigate here at this woman's house, but it sounds like you guys are about to head into some important territory, no?
