When he passed the frame of the door, he disappeared and the corridor was empty. Adolphe followed the master, after nodding with his head in a way that probably meant "godspeed", but without uttering a single word.

You open the door and a sudden flash of light aggravates your eyes. You've just noticed that the lights in the room slowly dimmed as you where talking with the master. After a period of your eyes readjusting to the sunlight, you can clearly see the front yard of the house you entered earlier for the meeting.
