Ride is Dex, not Cha.

Not the way I do it.   ;) ;)

I object to your suspicious lack of Feater levels.

I decided not to because it wouldn't have been fair to everyone else for me to have a character so overwhelmingly awesome.

Extreme Boredom

...I could link to so many more.  Just check out the list, if you haven't already.  It's HILARIOUS!
Wow... that "flaw" is overpowered as hell...

P.S. Can't wait till this game gets started!  :D

Sweet! When you say "minor gods can spring into being" from the Astral Plane, do you mean that they appear on the material plane from the astral, or that their actual existence just begins spontaneously? I think you meant the latter, and if so, that's... quite interesting! :D

There are numerous different planes, and concealed portals between them are common. Many powerful monsters inhabit the multiverse, and they are not likely to help an inadvertent planar traveler. Once, the Makers protected the sentient races from the dangers of the planes, but, two thousand years ago, they left the world. Now their creations, uncontrolled, are as much of a threat as planar wanderers.

No cohesive civilization exists, as people rarely are willing to leave their home village and risk stumbling across one of the numerous concealed portals, as many powerful monsters inhabit the multiverse, and they are not likely to help an inadvertent planar traveler.  Once, the Makers protected the sentient races from the dangers of the planes, but, two thousand years ago, they left the world. Now their creations, uncontrolled, are as much of a threat as planar wanderers.

It looks like you have a copy/paste error in there.

Indeed, it was the latter that I meant, although such events are rare.

Fixed.

I just saw this, and I don't know about you, but I definitely plan to use it in a game sometime... What a simple, flavorful, and pretty effective, solution to much of the "casters are overpowered" problem.  :love

Edit: What about these? I don't know if I'll use them (I'm pretty strapped for feats, and Luck feats greatly benefit me as a Nord's Blade), but I think they are a very cool idea. I think feats in general should be more powerful, and the +2 to 2 skills feats are some of the weakest ones in the game (and hence the most in need of power-ups).

Edit2: I kind of like the looks of this as well.

'Tis neat, but does not fit in here.

You can take them if you want to. Some of my NPC will have them.

Me too. What does everyone else think?

Some of these look awesome, too.

So... are we about ready to launch on this game? I'd hate to see it die on the vine...

I'd rather not go with it. Seems a bit too convoluted for my tastes. *shrug*

Regardless, I am eager to see this game get going, though I am currently in the process of moving. Can still post, but I might not be terribly elaborate for a few days.

Mystery and Tom Crowley need backgrounds, and I must write info for Fwisp, Ádhúil, Mystery, and Thomas.

Also, I noticed that Loptr has rolled HP, but we're using average, and Fwisp's HP says X.

Ah, OK. Wasn't sure, and just guessed. That's an easy fix. I'd rolled pretty badly, anyway...  :D

I just realized that I gave Ádhúil 2 Traits, but I think characters typically only have 1?  Quill, do you care?

Hmm... since I couldn't take Flaws with my character, I'd totally forgotten about traits... I think I'll tack on Aggressive, as it is great and fits him as well.

Ok, cool.  Yeah, I couldn't remember.

EDIT:  I swapped Gnome out for Sylvan in his auto languages, b/c the SRD specifically says that Leprechauns speak Sylvan.  Gnome is now a possible bonus language.
