So, Sarai is still teal, right?
"There is happiness for those who accept their fate, there is glory for those that defy it."

"Now that everyone's so happy, this is probably a good time to tell you I ate your parents."

I'll take this then.

Edit: At least I get some time to finish my new character while Kyrish disappears.   :p

So Boz, do us newcomers just assume that we're in the camp?  Or should we wait a bit before making intros?

EDIT: History's up.  As is a pic.

For race I'm thinking: Catfolk (+4 Dex, +2 Cha), Draconic Lesser Aasimar (Str +2, Con +2, Wis +2, Cha +4), or Unseelie Fey Magic-Blooded Draconic Lesser Aasimar (+2 Dex, +8 Cha).  Thoughts?  The last option seems a little much to me templates wise.

How about Magic-Blooded Planetouched (Arborea) Lesser Aasimar?  Unless you have a problem with a "Planetouched" Aasimar... ;)
+2 Dex, -2 Con, +6 Cha, plus an awesome ability:

Quote
Free Spirit (Su)
To the Eladrin of Arborea, freedom is the greatest asset for any mortal creature to strive for. Once per day, as a swift action, a Planetouched of Arborea may afflict themselves with a Targeted Dispel (as the spell Dispel Magic), the caster level of which is equal to their character level + their charisma modifier. The Planetouched may choose not to attempt to dispel certain spells on themselves.

Boz, are you okay with me going Unseelie Fey Draconic Lesser Aasimar for +1 LA?

Edit: I'm fine with going no wings and standard vision for Unseelie Fey if that helps any.

Edit edit: I wish whips/whip-daggers didn't suck.  :(

Bleh, sorry, been recovering from food poisoning.

Now is this "Unseelie Fey Draconic Lesser Aasimar with LA +1, meaning I have seven levels" or "Unseelie Fey Draconic Lesser Aasimar with LA +2 bought off to LA +1 at level 6, meaning I have six levels"? I'm guessing the latter, in which case yes.

On a vaguely related note, I skimmed my own character creation guidelines and thought I royally botched the buyoff thing (to the point where it would have been a straight equivalency without the actual buyoff part), but no, apparently I was perfectly sane when writing it. 's all good.

I meant the first.  I take it that either Lesser Aasimar isn't allowed for LA 0 or as DM you're giving Unseelie Fey a +1 Level Adjustment?  In either case, let me adjust my strategy.

No, that's fine, actually. Sorry, was just conflating CR with LA.

I'll even be good and give myself no wings and normal vision.  Otherwise I'd feel like I was cheating.   :blush

Thank you Boz.   :D

Yeah, now everything's back to normal and I can start clearing out this massive backlog of email, work, and laundry.

So Boz, do us newcomers just assume that we're in the camp?  Or should we wait a bit before making intros?

Bump.

And what about Kyrish?
We'll say he mispronounced "oloanthottoliqtqtiil" with a glottal stop and evaporated.

You can get rid of him as you see fit. He might be a useful party contact, or he might just leave to attend a verb convention. Who knows? You do.

The newcomers will be added in ways that have reasons. I'll poke everyone's backstories, talk to you individually, and see how I can best fit you into the group without stretching disbelief.

You know, more than the giant ground mouth that just opened up in the middle of nowhere.

Are there any super good Divine or Devotion feats that would be useful for me?  I Have all of these Rebuke Undead uses and nothing pops out at me.
