Corran steps out of the lift, raising his blaster and fires a bolt. The shot blasts the nearest stormtrooper off his feet.


One of the human prisoners with an appropriated blaster follows Corran out of the turbolift, firing at the next trooper but the troopers armor stops the brunt.


Those unseen at the back of the room take their actions.

Admiral Varth orders over the growing blaster fire, "Kill those troopers and get one of those lifts going to get us to the roof."

Kel follows the admiral's directions almost instincitively, his old Clone Wars soldier training kicking in. He peeks around the corner of the elevator and lets loose with the carbine at the designated stormtrooper.

The stormtrooper is blown against the wall and slumps slowly to the floor.

Seela and two of the other prisoners move the unconscious bothan toward the cleared cargo lift.

"An escape! I knew it! Hagark. Kagrek. Put down them down my creations." A voice from behind the turbolift commands over the din of blasterfire. The floor shakes as to large beings, once native felucians, round the back of the turbolift and lumber toward Corran's position. Similar to the mutations that you encountered earlier, these beings are the product of Captain Vischera's dark success. Huge bone blades have been fused to each arm and the native's muscle bulge several times more than the largest of the species you have encountered on the planet.
"I think we may have a problem here." Corran says as the beasts approach him from behind.

The cerean prisoner steps fires her procured blaster from the door of the lift, but the troopers take cover from her shots.

The two storm troops open fire and move for cover.


Silten moves across the terminal carefully and activates the lift, which warms up to begin it's ascent. The doors above part to allow for the lift to rise.

Rald exits the lift and fires at one of the other troopers.


Corran shoves his blaster barrel into the giant mutant's chest and fires then throws himself backwards over the crate to come to his feet on top of it.

The human prisoner retreats back further than Corran and around the crate jumping onto the lift.

Admiral Varth pushes past Kel and a prisoner in the lift following Rald. "Get those things down, or dont let them follow us up the lift."

Grabbing the disabled astromech, Kel dashes out of the Turbolift toward the cargo platform, letting loose a hail blaster bolts at the felucians as he runs.

Moving with the droid under one arm, Kel rains blaster fire on the mutated beast until it falls.

The Prisoners begin to crowd onto the lift.

"No! You ruined one of my creations!" Vischera screams from around the turbolift, and raises his blaster firing repeatedly the shots flying everywhere.


Kagrek charges Kel, like two behemoths crashing together, he throws himself at the Dashade, swinging its melded arm bone blades in wide archs splitting the large warrior's armor and chest wide open. The astromech smashes to the floor along with Kel's crumples bulk.

The stormtroopers fire at Corran, standing on the top of the crate makes him a easy target and a blaster bolt grazes him.


The Cerean prisoner levels her blaster pistol at the remaining stormtroopers, firing as she moves to the rest of the group.

Rald shouts and he grabs Kel's body and drags it with him toward the lift knowing he has precious little time to help his companion  before it is too late but he can't help him if the mutated felucians attack him. He also manages to raise his blaster and squeeze off a few shots hoping to keep the mutants heads down long enough for the rest to escape, but they are oblivious to the shooting.

The admiral quickly steps behind the crates and onto the cargo lift, while the other prisoners huddle on the lift.

The remaining mutant lumbers around the crates to stay on Corran, swinging away at the human who ducks and weaves around the massive swipes. "Silten...Any..Time...Now.."


The two stormtroopers turn their weapons on Gilo, the cerean prisoner and open fire. Executing here in a hail of blaster bolts.

The lift breaches the roof and you are blinded by the bright light. Blaster cannon fire lances through the sky towards the Banshee, it's main ramp down, as Captain Okeefe glides her ship into position near the lift for the scoop job.

The other cargo doors begin to open as you rush on board. The ramp closes up just as the stormtroopers and the mutated Felucian step off the lift and the Banshee tears off into the sky.

"Get Kel and the other injured into the med bay now." Rald orders the group, not waiting for questions expecting his medical directives to be followed. "2B with me." The droid follows on the Khil's heels as the begin work on the Dashade. After a few minutes though it becomes clear there is not much more that can be done.

Coming out of the med bay and traveling to the cockpit solemnly, he says upon entering, "I've done all I can...He's gone."

"Damn." Corran swears "Was hoping there was still a chance he could pull through. He was a soldier and I am sure he didn't see himself going out any other way than in combat."

"Sorry." Sirona Okeefe frowns "We are just a few seconds from breaking out of the atmosphere. Once we get to where we are headed, we will see to his body. Sensors just picked up a major surge from the coordinates we lefts a few minutes ago. Must have been one hell of an explosion the just went off."

"Just where is it we are going?"

"The Zandrax system, our benefactor has arranged for us to rendezvous with another ship there. Should be about two days" the captain answers peering out the cockpit before quietly reiterating "Lets be cautious about using our benefactor's name around our newest arrivals during this trip."

A moment later the nav computer spits out the calculations and the captain pulls a lever to engage the hyperdrive. The brilliant stars elongate for a moment and the Banshee jumps into Hyperspace.

The two days spent in hyperspace are cramped for the passengers and crew of the Banshee. There is not much private time. Silten tries to keep to himself but is bugged constantly by the young man named Dredar Vene, who does not seem to have a verbal filter and knows quite a bit about tech, but quiets instantly to awkward teenager whenever Seela enters the room.

Admiral Varth, reads a few holobooks from the Banshee's library and Corran piques his interest in a game of Dejarik. As a show of his gratitude for his rescue he takes over the galley and produces some of the best meals the Banshee has seen in some time.

Rald looks after the prisoners they have rescued, doting over their recovery from injuries he can control as if driven by some need for penance over losing a patient.

Corran spends much of his time with Captain Okeefe swapping stories and more than a little alcohol.

When the time draws near to exit Hyperspace, the Captain asks each of you to man a post ..."Since we never know what we are going to run into when exiting hyperspace in a system that is not inhabited."

When the blue tunnel of hyperspace dissolves into realspace, you are confronted by a small shape of a ship in the distance. Not the dagger shape of a star destroyer and much smaller in size, as you close the shape becomes clearer as that of a new Nebulon B frigate. The Banshee's console beeps a hail.

"Unidentified ship, you are in restricted space. I dentify yourself and your purpose." a voice indicates over the comm.

"Resurgence, this is Banshee. Transmitting clearance code now." the captain replies.

"Banshee you are clear to dock, sending approach vector." the voice says after a moment.

The Banshee comes up underneath the Resurgence's middle spar and connects up with an extending docking ring. The group climbs up through the ring and into the Banshee. Upon entering the ship, you are greeted by a group of several of the Resurgence's crew led by the Captain. He wears the sterile uniform of an Alderaanian officer and approaches the Admiral first. "Admiral" he says with a nod, "Please allow my crew to escort you to your quarters until a full debreifing has been completed."

"Of course Captain" and the Admiral is led away by several armed personnel.

The Captain turns his eyes on to each of you, weighing you for a moment, "Welcome aboard, I am Captain Adrian Verana. Thank you for retrieving the Admiral from Felucia." he says as he begins walking with you. "I have taken the liberty of assigning each of you quarters on my ship, and the rest of the Resurgence's facilities are at your disposal. Senator Organa is eternally grateful for aiding him in this task. He would appreciate it if you stayed aboard for a time. Depending on the results of Admiral Varth's debriefing, we may find your help is further needed."

Each of you is led to rooms aboard, "Please dine with me this evening, I would like to hear your recount of the time on Felucia?"

The party filters into the officers mess which has a large viewport out into the expanse of space in the Zandrax system. Captain Verana joins them moments later. Dinner is served and the conversation eventually meanders to the events over the past several weeks. He lets the group tell their tale with very few comments. Though he laments the loss of so many in getting here.

"Good people are getting harder to come by these days." he says walking over to the viewport, to gaze out into the vast beyond. Then as if recalling a detail of your story that he wanted to question after he asks further about it. "Please tell me more of the transmission you had found in the communications center?"

Rald answers "It was a message sent from a place called the Citadel on the planet Prakith. It was sent through the holoreceiver on the Star Destroyer that was in orbit. It stated that there was an Inquisitor enroute to the prison to retrieve the Admiral. It appears we arrived just in time to rescue him."

"Yes, An Inquisitor is nasty business. It may be that we have stumbled onto something far more sinister here than an Imperial traitor. Rumors of an Inquisitorius that has been formed are everywhere. With the Jedi gone, there is no one to stop the dark things they are said to be doing. We are in for dark days ahead indeed." he says as he turns back to the viewport.

The Resurgence moves far enough out and jumps away from the Zandrax system to it's next secret location.
