That's terrible. :(
Get well soon.

And remember, those students need intubations and cricothyrotomies as practice for realsies. Be awesome and volunteer for unnecessary student procedures.

The general feeling you get about the are is that it isn't an area you'd want to be out in during the night with your hand on your dagger. As you look around the pile of debris, you come across a small gold ring with a white gem stone set in it, it still seems like the fire just come poof into existence all at the same time.

You gather from the guards that this is just another patrol, where much doesn't happen and what does happen they get paid to either look into it it or look the way or in some cases they don't care unless it becomes a problem outside of the red light area.

Do they seem approachable?  As in bribing them to not look the other way?

Presumably the others have seen me cast both spells, so they shall be informed of the results.

"Some bad shit went down here.  We're looking for someone with magical power.  Someone inclined to evil.  Probably a gnome.  Fuck, I hate dealing with gnomes."

"So, mage sets off a nuke and gets out?  That rules out accident.  How do you know it's a gnome?"

"He's been blaming everything on gnomes since we met him. Ignore that part and focus on the 'magic' facet. Who has enough magical power to cause this sort of blaze?"

"Cause the magic they set off radiates evil too.  Whoever did this wasn't just yer average fireball flinger.  Course I could be just a little too hard on the Gnomes given our past...acquaintance.  Could be Presbyterians." :thought

Hear that?  Sounds like danger.  And danger is one hot dame.

Without a word Taps dropped what he was doing and went into a sprint for the source of the noise.  Nothing about that could be good.
Mudada.

As you all come upon the source of the explosion, you find that it's a warehouse burning. A number of folks have formed bucket brigades in hopes of stopping the fire

I look around to see if anyone seems out of place.
