See, that's exactly why advantage is so useful. :D

Has someone got a non-overly complicated analysis of how the average roll for advantage and disadvantage compares to normal? :O

Nice. It even has what I really wanted to find, but am too lazy to do (despite doing a module all about statistics last semester):

Sorry for the absence, the last several days have been crazy.  Should I pose in, or hold off?

Go ahead and post, and roll initiative for me while you're at it.

Keep in mind, caelic, that you're still bound. You'll be stronger, which will help in breaking your bonds, but until you deal with them it'll be difficult to maneuver as a bear. Even more-so than as a humanoid.

Bears are also not renowned for travelling between two boats. :lmao

Indeed. They're not even particularly great for travel within a single boat. :D

But it's not for me to say what any one of you should do. I just adjudicate what happens when you do it. :)

Thank you. I didn't know how to make the descriptions show up. :D

I asked before I vanished over the summer (and subsequently forgot), so I was too timid to ask again.

So I'm leaving for a convention tomorrow afternoon.  I'll bring my phone, but probably not my laptop so posting will be... infrequent.  In case people get tired of waiting for me, Erenor plans on casting Dissonant Whispers on the toughest looking guy (4d6 damage and must use his reaction to run away from me, DC 14 Wisdom save halves damage and removes the flee effect).  Then he'll Eldritch Blast (roll +6, 1d10 + 4 damage) any of our captors who are still standing.  Hopefully you won't have to use this!
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Thank you Linklord, that should work out~ ... at least, unless we end up getting out of combat. xD

Kinda hoping I'll outgrow the ropes, to be honest.  The shift to bear form isn't a considered tactical maneuver; it's the reflexive reaction of someone who's waking up disoriented and not really sure where he is.

Given Venn's assessment on Mage Hand to get out, I think this'll just give you Advantage on the Athletics check.

Quite possibly, yes. If he somehow doesn't make the check, however, things are gonna be bad for him.

I'll get on updating soon. Busy day ahead at work, but then the weekend's up and there will be much time for updating.
