Never played the game. The BGers I remember liking it, though.
I don't pee messages into the snow often , but when I do , it's in Cyrillic with Fake Viagra.  Stay frosty my friends.

I want to play, as it's been heavily recommended, but alas I cannot find a group.

Update: Got it and love it! The game is pretty easy to play, and the system is different and pretty enjoyable

Is that the one that's based (loosely) on the mechanics from Burning Wheel?
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Yea its kind of a beginners version of Burning Wheel.
It uses a dice based test system, but also has a combat mechanic that uses cards. The card mechanic can be used for any complex test from combat to persuading someone. The game emphasizes role playing and is actually really fun.

Each session is split into 2 major parts, the first half is the DMs turn, and the Players turn would be the 2nd part of the game. Where the players "take the wheel" and can steer the game in which ever direction they want. It does take somewhat of a flexible DM, but planning the adventures are easy, and because of how the game is set up, the players turn usually feels like a very natural way for the game to finish out.

The game in general feels like a new take on RPing. For instance to advance a skill, you have to have multiple successes and failures in that skill. Failing a skill in Mouseguard isn't the same as failing a check in DnD.

I would highly suggest it to anyone. Everyone I've played with (including my children) has really enjoyed it, and picked up the system easily while playing.
