Min/Max 3.x / Swordsage or Telflammar Shadowlord Build

Hi Everyone
Finally, I found a stable gaming group to join. We will be playing in Forgotten Realms. We will be using 3.0 and 3.5, no Tome of Magic or Psionics. I’m looking at either doing a straight Swordsage or Telflammar shadow lord build again. We will be starting at 1st level with 82 attribute points. I will be playing a human from Thesk. For the shadow lord I was looking to use some type of combination using rogue, swordsage with 2 levels of fighter, assassin and use the shadow-walker template. Any suggestion would be helpful.

Well some bad news, the campaign died before it even got started. The DM kept coming up with excuses for not statrting. Come to find out he was playing in another game. Another player will be running a pathfinder game to start next week. The new DM is allowing me to play 1st level beguiler converted to pathfinder rules. Any suggestions for a pathfinder build?

The DM does give downtime. He told the spell casters dont expect to be crafting a lot of magic items  :-\.

Here's the list of spells the DM generated:

1st level - cause fear, enlarge person, expeditious retreat, feather fall, hold portal, mage armor, magic missile, mount, ray of enfeeblement, reduce person, shield

2nd level - false life, ghoul touch, melf's acid arrow, protection from arrows, resist energy, see invisibility, spectral hand, spider climb, summon monster 2, web

3rd level - clairaudience/clairvoyance, daylight, dispel magic, explosive runes, fireball, magic circle against evil, slow, summon monsters 3, tongues

I can add 4 spells to each level. Any suggestions? Opposition schools are enchantments and illusions.

Any suggestions fro spells. The DM is generating my spell books, He said i can pick 4 spells for each level 1-4. Also what should be the 1st level spells to move over to the beguiler spell list?

I wil be focusing on wizard. I will start as human beguiler 1/wizard 4/ultimate magus 1, feats spellcasting prodigy (int), extend spell, practiced spellcaster (beguiler). Debating on taking craft wands. See the 1st post for stats, i have 82 points + a point for 4th level. are the stats okay. Suggestions for spell list.

Thanks Ayegill for the help. I will be sticking with the abjurer, but won't focus on conterspelling and banishing demons and devils. Any suggestion for feats after 6th level, I was looking to finish the last 5 levels of the build with either archmage, or geometer from complete arcane, or do 1 level of wayfarer guide and 4 levels of wizard, or the demon wrecker (arcane) from expedition to the demon web pits.

I was told we would be dealing with thayan wizards and demon and devil cults. I want to be good and counter spelling and banishing evil planar creatures. Do i need to drop the master specialist and just do 4 levels of wizard?

I’m getting ready to join a 3.5 Forgotten Realms game next week and I needed suggestions for my Ultimate Magus build. All WOTC 3.0 and 3.5 books are available. I’ve read numerous websites with suggested builds, and I think I go with the beguiler1/wizard4/ultimate magus10/x5. The DM is starting me at 6th level with 82 points + 1 for 4th level. I will be playing a human. The adventure will start in Thesk near the border of Thay. So far the party has half elf bard 6, half orc fighter 6, human barbarian 4/fighter 2, human cleric 5/some type of summoner prestige class 1, human fighter 4/cleric 2, human transmuter 6, human warmage 6.

Dex-14
Con-14
Int-19
Wis-14
Cha-12

1-beguiler 1
2-wizard 1
3-wizard 2
4-wizard 3
5-master specialist 1
6-ultimate magus 1

Abjuration specialist, opposition schools Enchantment and Illusion.

Feats
1-spellcasting prodigy (intelligence), spell focus (abjuration)
3-practiced spellcaster (beguiler)
5-skill focus (spellcraft)
6-extend spell

Any help with current and future feats would be helpful and spell suggestions.

Hi Everyone,
I been gaming on and off for the last 12 years. I got introduced to RPGs in college and have been hook since then. Some of my favoriae RPGS are D&D 3.5, Rifts, GURPS, Seventh Sea, Shadowrun, Star Wars and Warhammer.
