I can't speak definitely, but as far as I gather, no, just as soon as feasible. This is just my inference, and not any statement from Pencil.

Whenever you are ready. If you are occupied at the moment that should be no big problem. Can you get your character ready in like... a week?Or is this to early for you?
Movie Quote of the Week (Brazil):
Sam Lowry: Is that one of your triplets?
Jack Lint: Yeah, probably.

It's ok. I just needed a couple days, it'll be ready in a week, definitely.

Does my background fit the setting? And make sense?

I'm still here, and the week's madness appears to have abated.

Query: Can I use (Greater) Spell Focus for a wu jen's chosen element?  Preliminary thought is wu jen 6/mythic exemplar 9/fortune's friend 5.

Yeah.It is fine! The only "problem" is that arcane behemoths normally don`t roam outside of town so you can come from far away-ish.

Now I just have to ask you guys a question:You want the beginning played out or should I just write how you got the job and so on?
And since I am not familiar with pbp, what combat mapping tools do you advise?

I'm game either way. However, I'd imagine that it wolf be easiest for you to write how we got the job and explain why we all grouped up.

I've added the background of my character : basically, he's from a "Maori + Inuit" culture. I do thing I'm ready to go, I just need to do his portrait myself.
Please tell me if I have things to add/change/remove/clarify.
"-Lady-Captain, we detect 20 hostile vessels against us,  and Erasmus Haarlock's Spear of Destiny ! What are your orders ?
-RAMMING SPEED !

final result : 6 slaughts vessels, 4 imperial frigates, 2 imperial cruisers destroyed. Haarlock sent into the warp. 0 losses. Flawless Victory.

Every time I start to think about my back story, all I can think of is this:

My character's background is now on the sheet, under "additional information."  Let me know if you want anything else there, or if something conflicts with your version of the world.

The background is totally fine.

Another question: Would you guys mind if I delete all non characters in the character thread?I am a little ocd like that  :tongue

and an announcement: I got the map ready so far and am ready to introduce you to the exploring mechanics for "kingmaker".But that is going to be a new thread.

Will you be posting the initial meeting of our characters and creating a thread for us to be in character?

I doubt anyone will care, but if you want, copy them and put them in a spoiler in this thread.

Um, you have the best idea of the setting, while we each know our characters. So, really, It's up to your decision. Do you want to add characterization to each of our characters, or would you prefer us to all tweak the setting?

My race is a desert variant kobold, and I was wondering how you (Pencil) thought a character like that would fit in to society in this region.  Are kobolds mostly looked down upon, or is Brevia more of a place where anyone can make a name for himself, regardless of race?
Also, are there any conveniently located deserts that I can hail from?
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.
