"Hmm, those must have been my comrades earlier, two of them were worshipers of Khorne if memory serves. Well, I too received an invite but could not come earlier..."

I'll take one minute to bandage his wounds, healing him 1 HP per 10HP of normal hitpoints (so if he has like 20+HP Normally he'll heal 2HP, 30+ normally 3HP, etc.)

First Aid 14

He looks slightly better but still not in fighting shape. "I need a way to send a interplanetary message, do you have a vox-caster? I'll get my brothers to retrieve us."

"Unfortunately I do not, but I do have someone waiting at a ship just a few miles from here, and I must bring him this Twisted Flesh-after which we may leave or you may contact your brethren. Once we are in a safer area, I can tend more carefully to those wounds. I imagine such a place as this may have a Vox-caster, however I'm not quite up for rooting around for it with all these guards."

"Well, I walked here, I was thinking of walking out, but I suppose that would be an issue with the guards all riled up. So you suggest we find a Vox-caster? If your brethren do come, I must deliver this flesh, a herald of Nurgle demands it."

"Brilliant-Where are they? I'll lead the way."

(PS I need a refresher on what I can use infamy points for)

"I have no idea where they store them but we can make a rush for one when they come to see why the lights are out over here. Can you cover our escape so I can drive the bike? I would rather not sustain more wounds"

"Ah yes, I suppose we can wait here and ambush the next guard that comes in, and kindly ask him to direct us to the bikes. I'll cover the escape. but while we're waiting here let me patch you up."

If he doesn't have anything to say, I'll work on treating him for shock, while listening for anyone approaching (if he or I hear anything, I'll stop)

First Aid 14 +3 = 17 (I forgot to add the Tech Level bonus for basic equipment at TL9)

Rolled 3d6 : 3, 1, 6, total 10

If success, for each 10HP he normally has, he will heal 1d damage.

He thanks you for the medicae and you wait what seems to be no long than 20min before you hear the roar of promethium engines. He tells you he will give the signal once the engines turn off.

A large bike with 2 inevitable guards pulls up several yards from the door. They both climb off and take out their glaives and begin approaching the door to the perseravtory. As they close within 5 yards the Prophet give you a signal. He charges out the door bolter in hand.

[5 yards is perfect hah]

I charge out the door, closing the distant but do not attack-instead waiting to parry.

As the red armored giant steps out behind you his bolter barks shells at one of the guards. The first of 5 rounds barely punches through the guards armor when a second round lands squarely in the guards stomach turning it into a gory mess of organs. The other rounds fail to find thier mark.

Ooh fancy. So, what I'm going to do is use an infamy point to boost my broadsword skill by 2, and then make an AoA (determined) for another +4, putting me at Broadsword 20. NEXT I'll aim for the neck, where I assume there is no armor at a -5. This will take my cutting damage from x1.5 to x2.

Broadsword 15

Rolled 3d6 : 1, 4, 2, total 7

If hit,
Rolled 3d6+1 : 4, 3, 5 + 1, total 13
x 2

Both the guards dead you are free to clamor on board the bike. The marine takes the front and fires the bike up.

After several minutes on the back of the bike you arrive in the port town. Gresh and his pod are no where to be seen.

"Well, my apologies, but it seems my contact has left the area... And now I'm in no better situation then you. Perhaps we can find a Vox caster in this delightful town."
