Title: Traitor's Gambit (Game Thread B) [Split Party]
Post by: Melblen_Cairn on March 01, 2012, 12:30:15 AM
As the rest of the group slink off to locate V14 in the Deep Storage Bay section of the station. Jerran avoids the notice of the Imperials and Station security, searching for the one he felt through the force.

I agree we need to find this person and see what is going on, their presence here can't be a coincidence.

You both clear you minds and focus on the ebb and flow of the force and it's auras that surround and penetrate all things. Stretching out with your feelings you combine your efforts to look at the living beings on the station and beyond. Eventually you begin to feel the presence of those that can touch the force. Sensing first the one in front of you, then soon finding the youthful impression you saw before. You are able to focus in on it's location and soon realize a rough direction and  distance from you.

You also sense another presence in the force now at the very edges of your sense. Far away in the direction of the planet but moving toward you. You can tell it resists your attempt and tries to mask itself but your combined connection to the force blows past any barriers. This aura is darker and full of pain.

Jerran looks to Amon with deep concern. "We most certainly have trouble incoming. Someone that may have ties to the Dark Side of the Force... I have even heard rumors that there are remnants of the Sith out there, and even if it is simply someone giving in to anger and frustrations, they are likely to be bad news. Even though you are not of the Order, surely you know what danger this may bring..."

Jerran rubs his temples. "We must find this young presence, and swiftly."

You both slip through the station quickly. Amon keeps a wary eye out and you easily avoid patrols of Stormtroopers still searching for the perpetrators of the Promenade shootout. Following your feelings in the force like a proton torpedo locked on its target, you soon close in on your quarry. The section you narrow it down to is the docking bays for the planetary shuttles and the terminal for new arrivals.

Jerran spends a few minutes questioning some of the people coming out of the terminal. A near human alien woman with blue skin and vibrant green eyes appears to have the answer your looking for.

"A child? Only one that I have seen on the trip up here, was on the same shuttle and wailed the entire trip up. Apparently the shuttles inertial dampers are going out and the kid was uncomfortable. She was with an older couple who kept to themselves and tried to keep her quite. I hope they aren't on my transport ship too, not sure I can take much more of that." She answers in heavily accented Basic. "I just left, but they are still in line" she points back into the terminal.

He then scans the line for the child and attempts to sense them, the same as Amon does.

She blinks for a minute and then repeats "I never saw the two of you here". She looks confused as she walks off.

The shuttle terminal is bustling with activity. Several shuttles have come in from Brentaal and their passengers are going through security. You quickly spot several stormtroopers in the area. Two near the security check in and two are up on the walk ways above. There is an Imperial customs official overseeing the check in. Most of the actual work is being handled by BSF's station security.

Amid those in line you quickly single out the child and in the force you know you have found her. She is no more than three standard years old and squirms around in the arms of a middle aged woman that would appear beyond child baring years. She works to keep the child calm. The man next to her is clearly nervous and gets even more  so as they near the check point.

They are two spots away in line.

BSF security take passengers datapads with their travel information and identification while the droid runs a scan on each traveler. The customs officer is hardly paying attention to the boring work, conversing with two of the stormtroopers.

The couple fish out their datapad and the man looks nervously from it to the security agent asking questions of the passengers in front of them.

The couple moves up and are next in line.

"Walking up there like that and then suddenly walking away might appear suspicious to the other guards. Besides, I can not fool them all. We'll need to think on our toes."

Jerran begins walking across the floor toward the line as the travelers step up. "Uncle, Auntie, is that you? My, it's been so long! I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pick you out of a crowd. Did you have any trouble with the flight?"

You give them that play along look. You are convincing enough for the customs agent who turns back to the Stormtroopers he is talking to.

The woman catches on quicker than her companion. "Dal, is that you? My you have grown. You didn't have to meet us here, we could have found your ship" the woman says.

One of the nearby Stormtroopers steps away from the conversation and issues an order, "You there, move along and take that...thing with you. indicating your Trandoshan friend Amon.

Amon takes a submissive stance as he approaches to gather their bags.

The customs agent looks confused for a split second then says "Right. The quicker they get through, the better for all." which the security agents look at each other weird but as soon as the next spot in the other line opens up they motion the couple with the child over.

An R2 unit scans each individual letting out a normal warble of beeps as the man hands his datapad over to the agent. "What is you business on Sel Zonn station?" the agent says mindlessly as he enter information into his computer terminal.

Umm a vacation, we are meeting some family here and heading out on my nephew's ship the um...Pulsing Star the man answers.

Which piques the agents attention at such a bad answer to an easy question, but his console begins buzzing with a warning noise and he looks back down. "Stay here please." he says as he walks over to the Imperial Customs agent and pair of Stormtroopers. Where they converse quietly for a moment, each looking back at the couple.

The agent walks back over to his computer terminal and punches something in. The returns to the couple. The other agent closest walks up as well. "Step over to this side please."

The couple complies with a nervous glance to Jerran and Amon. You notice both Agents have their hands on their stun batons and that the other two agents are keeping tabs on what's going on as well.

"You have been flagged for detainment. The blasted customs agent didn't want to bother with it because it wasn't contraband, but I won't turn a blind eye when kidnapping is involved. You will be held at our offices until we can get this sorted out."

"These couldn't be the criminals we are looking for, surely there must be some mix a mix-up with the records." the BSF agent repeats after a seconds confusion and before turning toward his fellow agent, "Move along." waving them on to the rather shocked looking expression of his co-wroker.

Not waiting for their luck to run out they quickly move on leaving Amon to carry their bags as he had insisted earlier.

Once far enough from the terminal they wait for you to catch up. "Thank you for your help, whomever you are." the man says but is quickly interrupted by his wife, "Your not taking this child...you hear. You were either sent by "her", or your part of the Jedi order. Either way you can't have her."

"Naris! These two just saved our hides back there. Again thank you but who are you?" the man first snaps at his wife then addresses you.

We came to help as we could sense her power and that of another coming to the station now. I am not a jedi as I was raised among the Aing-Tii, who trained me how to control my abilities. She will need this training too, otherwise she is a grave danger to herself and those around her.

Jerran bows in a show of gratefulness, and says, "Thank you, I'm sure everything will get sorted out soon."

The young Jedi talks as they walk away from the scene, speaking up after the couple begin opening up. "Perhaps we can discuss this in a less conspicuous setting. Still, you may call me Jerran. I sensed the presence of the young one, and while I will not insist on taking her, I do insist that you exercise caution; As my companion here said, there is a much darker impression on the Force headed to this station as we speak. Force sensitives are hunted down and either slaughtered or, as I fear may be worse, potentially trained in the dark side to serve as lapdogs of the Empire. Might I ask how the three of you came to be on this station? Just who are you to be risking your lives for the child? Did you truly kidnap her?"

"We're not telling you anything. You Jedi are the reason our daughter is lost to us and it'll be over my dead body if I am going to let you have our grand child." the woman snaps and clutches the child tight and turns from you.

The man explains"I am Gathan Rarn, this is my wife Naris. There is not much time if you feel her coming. Our daughter Zell, was very young when the Jedi brought her to the Temple. At the outbreak of the recent war, she left the order and found us. Of course we took her in. Later to find out she was carrying our grand-daughter Zaris." Gathan strokes the back of the child's head and continues. "As the months drew on we realized she was becoming more unstable, obsessing about another young Jedi. Shortly after Zaris was born she left to go find him, leaving us to look after the baby. He looks more afraid as he goes on. "When she returned she was different, I can't explain it, but I could almost feel her rage."

"She must have been tainted by the dark side. A Jedi does not fall to romantic pursuits, and clearly this other Jedi she pursued led her down a dark path. I want to assure you that not all Jedi are like that, though I do not expect you to believe me. You have been through much pain, I am sure, and have put yourselves in grave danger. A dark Jedi is not to be trifled with, let alone one fueled by such emotions." Jerran contemplates a moment.

"I assume it is your daughter who is coming here, searching for your granddaughter. I am sorry to say this, but you will not be able to hide the girl forever. Besides their normal connection to the Force, a parent can have an exceptionally strong bond with their child through the Force. She is going to be able to sense her child and track her down almost anywhere. I will not try and convince you to leave the girl in our protection for it is not my place to do so, but you are most certainly going to have to form a better plan than running and hiding, especially on your own."

The first few minutes of crossing the station back to where the Banshee is docked is fairly uneventful. Jerran nearly blunders into a patrol of Imperial Stormtroopers but the Trandoshan's keener senses pick them up first and he is able to stop Jerran. Still the patrol begins to move to investigate.

"Why do you fear running into Imperial Patrols so much that we are taking side passages and staying to shadowy corners?" whispers Gathen, "Surely it can't be just on our account....unless they are already looking for you Jedi. I thought security was awfully tight when we boarded the station."

Down one passage the child, Zaris, begins wailing at the top of her lungs.

As you step out onto another deck, the screaming child attracts the attention of a group of Stormtroopers who only seconds before were holding a holo-comm. The image of a woman's figure, cloaked, is instructing them as they nod their helmed heads before turning in your direction. A small probe droid floats nearby them projecting a holo of the likenesses of the two grandparents for the patrol of stormtroopers. Upon seeing these two in the flesh they begin to race toward you.

One of us needs to get them to the ship. Do you want them or to be the distraction? I don't know if just the two of us can take all of them.

"Wait... just follow my lead, and try to look menacing. Shouldn't be too hard for you. And, my new friends, please trust me enough to follow along as well. It will be difficult, but it may be the only way."

Jerran stops walking, tilts his head slightly toward his group and puts a hand up to signal them to stop, muttering, "Hold" loud only enough so the stormtroopers can hear him, but not so much as to draw more attention. He falls into an impatient-looking stance, glaring at the stormtroopers as they run toward the group. As they approach, Jerran lets out a displeased huff.

"I see we cannot rely on you soldiers after all. That's why my lady had me search the station as well, and here we can now see what Imperial military help is worth. My bounty-hunter associate and I are taking the prisoners to her now, in fact, so you are not needed. Though... my holo-comm has been acting up, and I could see that your's is already tuned to reach my lady's channel. Be a good soldier and let me borrow your comm, I promise I'll return it after I've brought this lot to my mistress."

The lead Stormtrooper of the group, which is also the one in possession of the holo-comm, tilts his head slightly in his helmet and says "You may borrow mine, but please see that it's returned after you've brought this lot to your mistress." he adds, "Glad you've found them Sir. Inquisitor Rarn has been running us all over this station. Need any other assistance Sir, we have some binders to help you secure them?"

Jerran grabs the comm, and then the binders as they are offered. "We'll take those as well. As you can imagine, we are on a very tight schedule, so my associate here will help secure these on the way. You stay sharp now, I hear this station's seen some action lately other than these fugitives."

Jerran doesn't miss a beat, remaining as forceful and cold as he came off initially. He leads the group away from the Stormtroopers. Once they have gotten significantly far from the troopers, Jerran finds a garbage chute and tosses the comm unit down it.

It does not take long, even with the screaming child to reach the docking bay where the Banshee resides. With your approach, "Crash" is working on one of the ramps struts. The droid comments to you as you pass, "Why do I get the feeling we picked up another pathetic life-form? Captain Okeefe is going to want to hear about additional guests being brought aboard."

Jerran responds softly, to not draw attention to the conversation. "I'd rather as not draw attention to us while we're on an imperial-run space station. If we can lure her somewhere private, it may reduce the collateral damage, and perhaps my companion her and I can help you instill reason into her. If not, then at least we won't have the Empire breathing down our necks and we can face her on our own terms."

He looks toward the cockpit, behind the captain.

"If we confront her here, things are going to get messy for everyone. I would rather that not come to pass."

Calling out to her, Jerran addresses the Captain, "Captain, do we have an ETA on the group? The sooner we leave, the better for everyone."

Just before you address the Captain you see the image of Rald saying, "Yes, and the coordinates for the package. Things didn't go smoothly, and I want to get off this station before yet more people sling blaster bolts at me. My luck won't hold forever, and I need to treat some of us for radiation burns. We're on our way back now, have our other two companions returned yet?"
The Captain answers, "Yes, they have. You may have full use of my medical bay when you get back but while it's fairly well supplied, it doesn't have room for many." and continues after you ask"You can transmit any coordinates and information you have and we can pinpoint where it's at."

She tilts her head to answer you with a smile "You may ask them yourself."

The image of Rald fiddles on the datapad for a minute before transmitting the coordinates and package information. "There's the coordinates, we're on our way back now."
Captain Okeefe looks over the information on a terminal displaying the location, "Receiving them now." and then she frowns and explains, "These are for this station....and the computer tells me the sequence after it is for the main docking bay on Blue Deck. That's where most of the Imperial personnel and equipment move to and from the planet below."

So much for that diversion. Corran falls into line once more as they start to move again.
"Well, it's both beautiful and terrifying at the same time and undeniably exciting, just as it at the same time can be tedious and dull and outright boring. There's nothing quite like it, which is why I became a pilot in the first place. Of course, coming from Corellia I'm sure it's in my blood somehow. As I said earlier, the galaxy can be a cold, harsh place. Much like space itself honestly, a vacuum inhospitable to life... well, most life at least; I've heard of these giant creatures that... never mind, that's neither here nor there.

But still, scattered throughout this bleak nothingness of cold are things like stars, asteroids and gas clouds; wondrous sights to see. Then there are the gems that are planets. Pieces of colour, of character, of life. Filled with millions of people and billions of stories. Defying this nothingness of space. Sheltering and nurturing life. Giving the people and creatures there a sanctuary to just be alive. Though sometimes I wish certain... things... weren't around. Like those Killiks".

Corran makes a face of distaste as he finishes his thoughts.

"Just like life can seem uncaring or cruel, there are these bright moments that are people. People who care, who are good. It's basically the same. I took up flying for the freedom to seek out these places and people. To try and be one of them as well, for the ones that need it.It's not a safe life, but it's one of freedom, of sorts.
Sure hyperspace can be dull, some captains can be earworms, some astrogation paths might dump you right into an uncharted asteroid field full of imminent death if you so much as twitch the wrong move on the stick... but that comes with the job. With the life. I... I'm not so good with words and it's hard to describe to someone who hasn't seen it for herself, but I hope it answers your question."

He makes a thoughtful pause as he speaks again.

"But as I said, there are millions of people living their lives and billions of stories birthed from them. I'm sure yours isn't nearly as dull as you make it out to be. Truth be told, most of the time my life is also boring. I just try and remember the interesting parts. Makes for better inspiration. Do you think it's boring, the things you do, or do you assume I would?"

She does seem to get more nervous the closer you get back to civilization. "I have always wanted to see the new and interesting places of the galaxy. For all it's serenity, Alderaan lacks any real excitement."

"Erh, wha. . .  " Corran stumbles, verbally as well as physically. He stops and looks at her with a concerned look. "Eh, I, I can't do that. I can't take you with me, I'm sorry. The people who I'm working for right now are quite specific about their business and who they hire. I can't bring you along, it won't work and I'm leaving tonight. Unless I can persuade them to wait until my injury has recovered, but even then... Alysra, listen, it's a dangerous place, space. I said so less than five minutes ago. I'm not going to say that you couldn't learn and make it out there, but please realize what you're getting yourself into. Take it from someone who just ends up in things because he makes quick decisions, it's not really a good method. Are there not any other way to resolve this? Who is this man? I can't take you with me, but I might be able to do something."

Good going as usual. Something like what, exactly? Going to just use your clever political influence with the Senator you just met hours ago, will you? Then again, I can't do nothing. Please, please let this be a case of romanticized boredom and not actually a bastard. I'll try to help, but I'm involved in something bigger right now.

"Please, you must. The last pilot that I know of was just bought off by Hale. I will be stuck here with him! I have some money I saved for passage and this." She removes from her neck a small pendant, it's sparkle catches the light of the sun as it slides from her delicate neck. Seeing Corran continued insistence she adds with a frown, "The trinket means nothing to me, a gift from Hale. The man is Hutt slime, I doubt there is anything you could do to change my situation if you will not take me along. He'll just have you arrested for something and whisked away to Kessel or something."

She looks at the ground, downtrodden, but then looks up as if something just occurred to her. "Unless you will kill him. That would also free me from him."

Getting lost in thought, Corran speaks softly after a while.
"Let's keep moving. I still need to be patched up, after that... after that I'll make some calls. I can't give you any promises either way Alysra. Lead the way, please." He angles his body as to usher her forward with his posture.

Blood and sand, how do I get myself in these kinds of things.

Alysra nods her head, having to accept that for now. She grabs ahold Corran's arm at the elbow again, more to be close than to provide any real support to the injured man. Her subtle perfume fills the surrounding air, an alluring scent.

She says nothing further on the walk back. She directs you to her quarters. One of spartan furnishings, with a bed, a table which serves as both a workspace and the place she takes her meals. On the makeshift desk sits a portable computer. She helps you to the bed, "Take some rest, I will bring back someone who will be able to help with those wounds." she says as she makes you comfortable.

Corran takes this opportunity to close his eyes and rest a bit. Ok, so how do I fix this problem? I said I'll call and I will, but honestly I don't think she can come along. Maybe Sirona can take her with her, she's leaving soon and the guy won't have time to pay her off.

The droid answers in a soothing voice, "You are correct sir, I am 2b67. Please do not attempt to sit up." it hovers over to the bed and proceeds to run a scanner over your body. "The blaster injuries are not terminal to this patient but will require a procedure to repair." it reports to Alysra.

"I am going to administer an anesthetic that will put you in a state of sleep sir. Please do not be alarmed at the sharp pain or cool sensation" as it produces a long thin needle and slides in expertly into a vein in your arm. "Again I feel I must protest to these conditions. The risk of infection is very high in this environment. Would it not be better for this patient if we moved him to the medical facilities in the palace?" it addresses Alysra as firmly as it can muster.

"No, you will perform he procedure here 2b." she sternly says.

"Very well." it says and goes about setting up around you to prepare. As you are nodding off you note when the droid is turned away from you that one of it's data ports has a very slim object sticking out.

With thoughts sluggishly returning to his mind, Corran sits up in the bed. Eergh... wait, how long have I been out?
Running one hand slowly over his face to wipe away the grogginess, Corran instinctively makes a motion with the other over his abdomen to check how the surgery went. Finding nothing to complain about, he tries to find his comlink.

"Oh nothing much, apart from learning that the entire planet has underground caves filled with insectoid people that likes to enslave everything and that wake up ever so often; having fought three of these things to save a woman and getting shot in the stomach; during the walk back to civilization to get patched up get pleaded to kill a supposedly horrid nobleman so that said woman can escape his tyrannical reign. I told her I wouldn't do that, so she pleaded that I'd take her with me when I was leaving, which I'm sure you all can realize is a really bad idea. I told her I'd call and talk with the rest of my crew about it, which I now have done. The dual moons are at their zenith and their light meander its way through the fungal canopy and through a crack in the hollowed out mushroom of your father's home. The soft light disturbs your reverie like a light touch and you are immediately aware of another presence in the room...

"Do you sense the disturbace young Toukool? Do you feel the gentle ripples that are spreading? A darkness approaches our world."

Toukool, the dark blue Felucian, was seating cross legged in his father's mushroom hut, meditating on the training he received during that day, from the elder shaman. While not physically impressive, he has proved that he has wisdom way beyond his years and a way of making the other villagers listen to him and his stories, day by day the shamans are teaching him how to use the way of spirits better. All felucians can use the way of the spirit up to a certain degree, but he has proved that his gift exceeded that rudimentary use, but even with this gift he could not sense the presence in the room with his as it entered. Slowly he tries to identify the source of the message, what darknes was it talking about, he opens up to the spiritual energy flowing through the world, letting it flow through him, and expand his awareness, just as the shamans had thought him, and sens what the presence was taking about. He was certain of one thing when ever darkness approaches, lives get changed and nothing will ever be the same again.

"The Elder Shamans of our people are aware of this threat and remain vigilant. You must take a more active role in seeking this threat out, it may not only save our people from the approaching darkness but also the growing evil already threatening us." the voice of the spirit fills you as you open yourself to it more. You have felt it's guidance before but this is the first time the familiar presence has spoken directly to you.

"I was once known as Vlurgek the Wanderer amongst our people in ages past. You, I have watched for many years. Waiting for the day you would step upon the path of your destiny. Go now young Tuokool for it taxes me greatly to appear to you like this." With that the apparition dissipates.

You head  to the place where the elders gather, the place where they commune through the living force with all the other shamanic gatherings in the world. You swim down a submerged tunnel to the cave and you surface in it's midst. It is alive with glowing fungi and small crawling fauna. Among those gathered is the human, called Vazus, that has lived within your village for some time now.

He nods to you as you enter.

Your father and the other shaman of the village garner your attention and speak as one, "Tuokool, we know why you appear among us. We been communing with our fellow shaman and the Life guides us. Speak."

I nod back to Vazus, he stops for a minute to form his words, then he starts talking in fellucian: "Father, Elders Shamans, i have been forewarned of a great darkness is approaching us, if you and all the other shamans feel it as well it we may be in grave peril. I come seeking wisdom, what vision did the Life show you, I am prepared to do what ever is necessary for the good of our people.

Tuokool, calms his thoughts at the mention of those that the empire had taken from them, the shamans have always thought him about maintaining a balance in everything, but he can't but feel sadness for the lost ones and anger towards those that took them, some where his friends, if the empire will strike again, but this time he will not make it easy from them. He answers the shamans calmly in his mind: I shall, find this new threat, and try and hinder it's progress towards our village, and warn our people, if it's real, I thank you and Murlak and Ralgek for your help.

You and the two scouts set out quickly after readying a few supplies. After a number of hours out from the hidden village, Murlak returns to your side with word that he has found signs of passage. Returning to the spot you find the tracks of two bipedal sets of prints of similar size as Vazus, another set the larger in size, and the last appears to be dragging something in a slithering pattern. The direction the group is taking is heading right back for your village.

You gain rapidly on the group and happen upon the spot of a giant fallen fungus, rotted with age and haphazardly camouflaged with artificial light coming through in places. Before you can spring any ambush, you are interrupted by thunderous foot falls that chill you... a Bull Rancor on a hunt of it's own. You move further on choose a different battle field to not stir the ire of such a formidable creature.

Backtracking to a point not far from your village, you find a spot that will make the best use of you and your companions abilities to hide and breathe water.

After tracking the humans Tuokool, and his companions submerge under water and hide near one of the giant mushrooms, lying in wait for the intruders. They ready themselves to defend the village. While alone under the water Tuokool prays in his mind to his ancestors to watch over them during this hunt, the murder-make will be swift and the village will be safe for now, all he can hope is that one of the local Rancor's doesn't get to curious about fighting that will soon brake out and finish it off faster than expected.

It does not take long hiding under the water when the shoreline is broken through by a large bipedal alien, armored, with a mouth full of fangs, and an oversized blaster rifle. He is followed by a human, another bipedal alien with tentacles on its face and then a serpent-like alien desperately trying to keep a device he is holding dry. All are armed.

You hear the human say "Well, lets hope we don't run across any more of those leeches. I don't suppose any of you have a boat on you?"  and you grasp most of what is said with what you have learned of the basic tongue.

"Unfortunately, I do not have a boat,"  answers the tentacle faced alien as both begin to wade across to the island nearest to you coming to the shore just opposite of you. You can make out through the dense foliage that they appear to be searching themselves for something. They must have already encountered the planets leech slugs.

Behind them the menacing alien rumbles in a deep voice "Guys, are you sure it's a good idea? We have a map and we could at least look for ways around this swamp first rather than wade through waist-deep water through which we can't see jack shit."

While the serpent-like alien looks bewildered around at his equipment, apparently trying to determine how best to keep it all dry in the crossing. Then looking at a small hand held metal device the makes beeping noises as he fiddles with it.

The serpentine alien begins to cross last when your first message goes to the largest of the group. He proves difficult to connect with through the force but you manage. He is instantly alerted to your presence and runs along the shore to take cover among some fungus. The human is alerted by this and moves behind a giant mushroom stalk as you message goes to him before he asks, "What did you see big guy?"

The large alien is definitely ready for anything.

Hearing the large aliens call, the dark blue fellucian lifts from the water with his hands up, but ready to act in case the situation turns south the menacing skull blade on his back ready to slay the mercenaries of the empire, he knows the others have his back but there is something off about the aliens in the swamp they don't seem imperial, he decides to talk to them, maybe he can reason with them, with out blood shed. The appeals to them in little intergalactic common he learned from talking to Vazus:

Leave us be!, Empire send enough young ones to The Great Spirit and put terrible curse on young ones still living, make much water red with blood of noble warriors, now send guns for hire to make murder on more innocent that still survive. I no want to fight guns for hire, but i defend land, keep village safe, if no other way i will accept fate and join The Great Spirit with young ones and warriors protecting village. I ask you, leave us be, go, tell Empire masters, you find swamp empty, allow us move village to safety, we never harm Empire or Outworlders, we just want Life.

'We don't like the Empire much, and the feeling is rather mutual." The large alien says though even his voice is intimidating, the being does begin to viibly relax a bit though keeps his weapon trained on you, "We also have no quarrel with you and your people."

The human's intentions are easier to read, he lowers his blaster pistol, though it is still in hand and steps out from behind the giant stalk to learn against it. "Well then, looks like we may be on the same side, enemy of my enemy and all that."

You....no friend Empire? Then why you near village, no one ever come here, place dangerous, no treasure, only death -he is rather reluctant for the next part, but 4 heavy armed merks should't be able to do to much harm-
Follow me-, he makes a sign and says in Fellucian:- They aren't working for the Empire, we will take them to the elders, and see if they might help us, we will lead them back to our village, but keep an eye on them non the less- he then turns to the mercenaries -We will lead you to our village, consult with elders and Vazus-, he points at the human -He human like you, help my people allot, he and Elders will decide if we help you, explain on way to village how you come here, Fellucia dangerous, no one come visit with no reason.
