Certainly.  As oslecamo rolled a 6, you can act first.  Or act after Kana.

Simply declare your actions and roll a Fray Dice.

I think that it is costumary to describe your actions in IC in a pen and paper RPG, then let the DM describe the results? :p

And uddenly I kinda feel like we're in a wargame. Old school!

I'll have to drop the pole and grab a spear, so -2 on the attack for this round.

Stab attack
Rolled 1d20-1 : 12 - 1, total 11

Stab damage
Rolled 1d6 : 5, total 5

Stab fray
Rolled 1d8 : 6, total 6

That would defeat the point of giving us the target numbers beforehand, though. :p

And I'm just confused if 1 hit = 1 HD of damage, in which case by dint of rolling first I would have killed everything through overkill. I'm a fighter, lemme be stabby. :P

Oh, seems like my fray damage is just 1d6, gotta reroll. But yes, the way I read it seems like you just cleave them all in one go.  :D

Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4

@oslecamo: Having me describe the results of the rolls would be best.

Both of your damage dice results fall in the 2-5 range, working out to 1 hit point of damage each.  As monsters and NPCs have 1 hit point per hit dice, you are able to drop two of them in one attack.

@Raineh Daze: you add your Strength modifier as bonus damage, but on one damage dice only.  Say, you dealt 2d6 damage and had a +2 Strength, you roll 1d6+2 and 1d6.  As Alex has a 1d8 sword, that doesn't really matter.  You don't add Strength damage to your Fray die.

Also, Fray Dice always deals at least one point of damage, even if you roll a 1 on the die.  Which kind of makes me ponder the purpose of a 1d4 Fray Die.

So an overall roll of 10 only does 2 points of damage. Depressing.

Os, I think they're dead, that didn't factor into account my rolls. I'd have dropped three of the things. XD

On the previous page. : |

My apologies.  You didn't describe it in your character's actions.  You would deal a total of 1 with your Fray, 3 with your modified sword damage.  If the other 2 were alive, you'd have been able to slaughter the lot of them!  Either way, the albino creatures are all dead, and you can explore the room as normal.

Just make a post describing Alex's actions.  Or edit your last post; one way or the other, it doesn't matter.

Sorry about that.

Anyways, new post!

Looks like weekends are good for PbP games.  We're making quite a bit of progress post-wise!

Yes, that's the room with the circular pit on the map.

There's only one more fight in this mini-dungeon, so I decided to describe the remaining rooms.  Hope you don't mind.

Anyways, roll for initiative once your characters get to Room 6.

Raineh Daze, would you like Alex to go before Kana?  I sort of felt in this post that you wanted to do so.  Oslecamo, would you be OK with that?
