Riek whispers to Gevyen, Pipe down, you're calling too much attention.

Gevyen cringes and looks over to you apologetically. He starts to give you another thumbs up, but catches him self half way through. He then stands up straight and regains his composure. With a rather serious face he turns back to the food stand.
Via trinket you all can hear him say. "Ooops. Sorry. Oh by the way I'm getting enough food for us all so it should onl" his sentence is cut short.
A man approached Gevyen and they appear to be conversing now.

Kwah-Yah addresses the group, trying to keep a low profile as much as he can.

I really think we should either slaughter the lot, or go our separate ways. These slavers are monsters and will attack us first chance they get, and i can feel it.

I'm sure they know they can't take us. And I don't think it's a good idea to attack them unprovoked. Doing that would only attract unwanted attention. Calm down, we'll be on our way soon.

While saying that Riek tries to see more of the strange wagon from where the group is. He won't come closer, though.

Those of you outside suddenly hear screams and shouts from deep in the market. You look over to see your tiny friend Zero the bird savaging one of the slavers. The other slaver guards near him are mixed with laughter and aggression, some go for weapons while others are bent over in delight.

((everyone outside besides zook go ahead and give me a spot check please.))

Mercutio says "Yeah, he's with me, and no he isn't dead. No need to get ancy. Many among my crew have... unique talents. Most of us wouldn't seem out of place at all with your group here, I'd think... So is Mr. Black your employer?"

Laughter and clattering metal draws Zulketev's attention to where his tiny companion is causing a disturbance.  He warily gives another glance around before heading that direction.

There are too many people here for comfort... Zulketev thinks to himself while sizing up the situation.  "Come Gevyen, let us make sure our friends aren't getting themselves into trouble."

Repressing a grimace, Mercutio says mentally to his companions <Look... I appreciate your motivations, and agree with you that slavery is deplorable, and that we should do something to stop them.

However, I don't think we should attack them openly in the middle of a city where the ruler is hostile to us. That's basically suicide, for multiple reasons. We can try to follow and ambush them on the road, if you like, outside of the city. I think I might be close to working out a way for us to travel, if you can give me just a couple more minutes...>

Outloud he says "There are six of us. While some of us may look intimidating, and all are well capable of defending themselves, I can assure you that they are a trustworthy and loyal group of companions. After all, you have to know who you can trust in this place, right?" He says with a reassuring nod.
