I think I've narrowed it down to Gambler and Dread Champion.  Dread Champion has changed a LOT since I last really looked at it and it's much better now, someday I might even get to use it for the whole reason it was created (I inspired that class you know).

Edit: It is also much better at "tanking" than the Knight is.  It just doesn't have one of my favorite tank disciplines.

Edit edit: I'm reading the campaign world information thread and Prostitution is punishable by death.

I'm tempted to go with 'Cause of execution : everything. They really deserved it; trusting the fey to behave never really works out anyway'

As long as there's a backstory about how you came to end up committing everything, sure, knock yourself out :lmao

Nanshork: I'd really like to see the Dread Champion in action. I REALLY like the fluff of the class, and i think it's very appropriate. Among your three options, i think it is the most fitting.

SirP: I really need to take some time to read all of your classes over. I really liked some ideas, and i'm even getting inspired enough to try my own homebrew out, that i've only kept to myself in my head.

This is shaping up to become a really interesting and functional party makeup, i'm really looking forward to see this campaign unfold.

My guy is definitely a heretic.  I'm thinking he (as an Archivist) started learning some strange spells that Clerics can't normally cast, and the church accused him of witchcraft and summarily executed him.  In Hell, learned something that absolutely goes against what the Church teaches about the nature of divine magic (details to be ironed out), which made him realize that there might be more out there than just God and The Adversary.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

If you have 2 months with nothing else to do, go for it!  :P (Brujon, note that his "sirpercival's things" thread isn't even up to date. There are quite a few new classes that aren't on there.)

EDIT: Updated.
Nanshork - Dread Champion? (Melee)
zook1shoe - Warblade (Tank)
FireInTheSky - Aetherforge (BFC/Buffing)
SorO - Erudite (Caster)
Raineh - Naseli (Ranged damage)
Linklord - Binder (Caster)
sirpercival - Panphobic (Skill/stealth-monkey)

I just realized, between an Archivist and an STP Erudite, we'll have access to theoretically every spell in the game.

I'm thinking that Qoden was attempting to pass off his abilities as Psionics, was found out, and then executed as a witch. Plus the fact that he's a non-human. And has no skill at interacting with anyone (gotta love that 6 Cha :p).

While I appreciate the praise, be very careful about going down this rabbit hole. I have way more homebrew than is apparent even from the massive amount of links in my thread.

EDIT: Amusing while picking flaws -- I can't choose any of the really thematic flaws because they would be absolutely crippling when combined with my class features which do similar things, lol.

I think I'm also party face, because I have 22 CHA. :lmao

Anyway, are using Holomancer Essences a go (there's not much difference except names. That, and the Positive Energy one is awesome. Shoot people with arrows to heal them, much?)

Well if brujon votes for Dread Champion then Dread Champion I will go!

I'll start working on him when I get home from work.

Hm. If I shoot someone with an arrow, intentionally setting them on fire as per Burn Reality, do I roll 1d4 then 1d6 for the Essence effect, or does that happen the turn after?

Also, how much money/wealth do I start with? There's nothing listed on the class ... @_@

Everyone starts with 1000gp, which is more than any class starts with (that i know of). Should take care of at least a good armor, sword, etc...

You won't actually HAVE your equipment on you when we start, but will get it pretty much right after.

... my equipment is light armour, a bow, and arrows. If I'm in melee I'm very screwed and my only option is to poke everyone and hope they burn to death. What do I do with the rest? :P
