The fairy takes this moment to start dancing. It's quite interesting, but definitely less interesting than the way her gaze, despite the small side, seems to affix the strange monsters.

"It would be quicker to start with what little he got right. He fundamentally misunderstands the nature of kami; those I am familiar with would be more akin to your archfey, although there are a great many of them," Yuki says, thinking back to the book she had seen, "I am a slayer of monsters more than I am a scholar, but I can answer simple questions. As for ice she-devils... I would say snow woman is a better translation.

"Of course, it would be simpler to introduce you to one, if you can make it to Chancel. But we would need to be sure you won't die some more."

In her hands, the crumb of a loaf looks surprisingly large--but is scarfed down all the same, the tiny blonde figure grinning.

"A fight? I'm ready!"

The fluttering fairy spends barely any time on clothing, trusting that her natural charm is more than apparent. Perhaps true, even, for anyone with a telescope to make such observations. Mostly, it's just an annoyingly movement-prone pale figure.

"So, this Red Hand... are their hands red?"

Yuki mentally relays the information, not wanting to copy the devil in.

"Also, maybe we should deal with her before she destroys this in a fit of rage once it's obvious we know what it does?"

"mmph."

Maybe once she stops being smothered with towelling.

It took a few more attempts to shake off all of the goop--honestly, looking back up at it, why was she in such a cavernously gigantic container?--before Áine felt confident enough to get a proper vantage point and take to the air, where she could actually look down on the others... and flitter between them, one tiny cold finger poking them in the cheeks, or where she assumed a cheek must be in any case where there was a current lack of face. "Hey, wake up! This is no time to be lying around, there's... stuff to do! Probably!"

"That was the plan," Red says, squeezing once more through the squalid hovel and looming over the old lady. Not that she has a huge amount of choice in the matter, due to such inconveniences as 'ceilings' and 'rooms sized for small people'. "The tunnels: where do they lead? If you tell us, then nobody has to get hurt. I just want to ask some questions."

Yuki crouches as if to lower Nadja to the ground, but mostly she's using it as an excuse to study whatever Mist's looking at in more detail.
