The first Hobgoblin takes the punch to the face like a champion. Roaring out he lifts his battle axe only to swiftly dodge to the side as Heir catches nothing but a glance upon the thick hide it's wearing. As Hiess comes charging around the corner, like before she seems quite energetic, the Hobgoblin strikes at Galen (hits AC 23, 9 dmg).

While the rest shuffle forward Mato comes up from behind end runs past everyone to better see. The hobgoblin strikes at him as he runs past as well. Mato trades him blows and finally the first is down. The mean looking dog, having no one in front of him, steps forward and breaths fire on his hated enemies. The hobgoblin in the back chants again and touches the other on the back before it steps forward brandishing a guisarme at Mato while the last one chucks a Javelin at him. Both miss.

Heironymus weathers the flames without so much as being singed.

Heironymous steps up to flank the dog with Mato, and as he swings at it, a duplicate blade appears and both swing at his enemy, flashing with a blue energy.

The Hobgoblin attempts to block one of the flashing blue lights but his own weapon passes right through the illusion as the real blade plunges in. Gasping he falls to his kneels and joins his partner on the floor.

Galen lets loose a flurry of blows at the large fire breathing dog, a grin of exultation on his face.

Hiess, not wanting to miss out, moves over (DD22) and kicks the dog (25/13) as the two Hobgoblins attempt to kill the man that stepped in front of them. The javelin thrower, whom held a dagger in his off hand, draws a second dagger and attacks with both (hits ac 6, 15, dmg 4 & 10). The Spellcaster, not to be outdone, attempts his own offensive technique and successfully defensively casts a Spell before his arm sweeps at Heir's neck (hits ac 13, 12 dmg). The Hellhound drops over dead from Hiess's kick leaving Mato to charge forward (FF20) and slash at the Spellcaster (20/11)

Heir steps past the Hobgoblins catching their blades as he passes only to turn around and brutally cut down the spellcasting hobgoblin.

The Hobgoblin releases a guttural cry but isn't down and out yet. Hiess however has other plans in the densely packed corridor as she runs around near the dead cleric's body and round house kicks the Hogoblin against the wall finishing him off. Her intense, almost flaming, aura immediately subsides and she becomes a bit lethargic with heavy breathing.

Out of combat now, grats.
