"There is a slop bucket in that room over there you could dunk your head in" Biggy replies to Minim with a wink as she lingers around the table enough to over hear Tim say, "No, me and my shipmate were discussing some private resolutions should we find disappointment else where."

Time gestures Hier to have a seat and Biggy walks off to turn in the recent orders and refill drinks.

Mary says "You sure now how to woe a women don't you?" and an awkward silence encompasses the table for a moment...

"Yeah" Tim says.

Sitting up in his seat he goes on to say, "If you went down to the harbor this morning you would have seen the Rusty Nail, sunk where she was tied last night." He leans forward and drops his voice some.  "Robert's crew was busting our chops last night about fishing in their area last year. Promising us this year they weren't going to let it happen again. It doesn't take a clever man to put the two together."

Galen stares down at the table awkwardly, blushing slightly.  After about a minute of awkward silence he says, "So, I want to sell some sheep...."

Hieronymus sits down with Tim and says "That sounds pretty serious. Anything else you could tell me? I'd like to look into this, but I think I'd also need someone to come down and file a report at the office. We could keep it quiet, until I turn something up."

Biggy pulls a balancing act with a couple plates and trays and goes around dropping food off for everyone.

Mary seems to have recovered and remarks, "Well we had a break in last night, three hanging meats were stolen so we could really use the meat but we're already looking at a hit to our coffers here. Might beable to swing better if you'll help pa unload a shipment later today."

Tristan watches the goings-on at Chuck's Wagon in silence, mind wandering back to the translation work he'd been doing while he considers the breakfast fare.

Galen nods.  "I've got nothing better to do and I always liked your Pa, I'll help."

Minim perks up.  This looks to be interesting...

He bounces up and drops into the seat across from Heironymus. "Maybe I'll join you... I'm a trained observer, I bet I could help!"

The harbor has a certain activity that can be seen from it today. Everyone is bustling around testing equipment, repairing, and preparing. Failures during the prime portion of the season cost far more than any other time of year so a good sailor takes the moment to double check everything.

The man that left Tim can be seen with two others standing near a flooded boat on the far left side of a large double T shaped dock, it's railings along the sides barely stick out of the water. Since it's fairly shallow here, its obviously that it is sitting at the bottom.

As Heir makes his way down he eyes another such shaped dock farther down the line and recalls what he knows of him.

Mary leads Galen down to the harbor and sees much of the same. Tristan's little shack appears empty and it's door is locked. Perhaps he left for breakfast?

Galen turns to Mary, somewhat chagrined.  "Er, he doesn't seem to be home.  Now what?"

"Maybe he left to eat?" Mary asks no one in particular. She sees Hier walking down to the sunk boat and points it out to Galen. "I wonder what is going on."

Heir takes a couple of minutes to clear his head, then pulls out a handful of the alchemical sand his father had given him for a birthday present last year. His father had said that a man with a clear head and a strong will could shape it into almost anything he needed. He'd given it to Heir as both a tool and a way for him to hone his mind. He shapes it into a magnifying glass, and begins looking around on the dock for any clues that might have been left behind by whomever sank this boat.
