1 point each, which you'll gain back banishing the critter.

You guys charging headlong toward the noise or being sneaky?

Is it banished already? I thought we just gained back Sanity and not Humanity.

If the banishing is complete, I'd run up until we start getting close, then slow down as we near it. Gun drawn, of course.

Nothing happened during the wait period, so I fast forwarded.  You do regain Hum for defeating some critters too.

It's probably a good thing that Elizabeth warned him not to depart, for the gruff enforcer was about to stand himself up and interrupt.  Though perhaps he was looking too hard, too engrossed in this... thing before him.  What the hell was that?  Was it really their opponent?  It made his eyes hurt for some reason, and he pulled his hat over his face grunting.  The pressure faded, and soon he felt better.   His eyes burned red with fatigue.   1 Charisma damage.

"That... whatever that was.  Is it done?"

Wait, what's that sound?

Something is pretty stealthy, but you both gradually realize someone or someones is following you back to the church and trying to remain out of sight.  You are currently about halfway there, and just outside a house.

You can see dim man-like shapes sneaking through the forest.  You aren't certain but you may be outnumbered.

You're on the outskirts of town, rounding your way around to the Church (which is also on the outskirts).  There's about 50 ft of open space between the housing you're near, and the forest where the bad guys are.  They'er using the trees as cover.

"Run!"

Elizabeth makes a break for the buildings to get out from the trees, where they might get attacked. Are there any civilians around?

depends on how quick your assailants are and if they have friends ahead waiting to cut you off.  you can still hear sporadic gunfire from the church

Leon was quick on his feet, grabbing his weapons as he took off after Elizabeth.  "It's the cannibals, isn't it?  Let me fight them, I'll take them down.  But how many of them are there?  Maybe we can lead them into a death trap..."
Mudada.

Your sharp senses and quick thinking prevent them from cutting you off, though now you have a second much closer group giving chase.  Upon seeing the church you see piles of dead bodies, mostly cannibals.  Initially they appear human, but getting closer you realize that only seems that way from a distance.  They are pale, hairless, greasy, foul smelling humanoids.  They have no obvious eyes with cracked teeth, complex ears, and crude weaponry.  None are wearing clothing.

Fortitude and Will saves plz.
