Ways to get Improved Trip without prerequisites?

So I know about being a lvl 6 Monk or a lvl 2 Wolf Totem Barbarian, but are there any other ways?

There's also the martial monk from Unearthed Arcana, which can get any fighter feat sans prereqs at 1, 2, and 6, but there are better feats to take with it, such as Improved Whirlwind Attack, Perfect TWF, or Robilar's Gambit -- the feats which require really high levels or lots of prereqs to get.

There are ways to buy the prereqs with money. An Int-boosting item, a casting or two of Polymorph Any Object, or Polymorph into a wolf and metamagicked Awaken for +Int. Buy castings of DCFS to swap out your classes' armor and shield proficiencies or racial proficiency feats, or swap out items you buy that grant bonus feats, or hit up some magical locations for permanent bonus feats.

You can use the Heroics spell to get it for 10 min/lvl, but you still need the prereqs.  You could get the Expertise feat with the same spell, and the Int 13 with an int boosting magic item.  An eternal wand of Heroics would let you get both feats for 30 min/day, every day.

I don't know if this will help, but the Arms and Equipment Guide, page 139, says you can get an intelligent item that grants the use free use of the Expertise feat (10,000 gp for the feat).  So instead of bypassing the prereq feat, you can just buy it.

The same book has a sidebar on p128 "Magic Items that Grant Feats", which gives some fuzzy pricing guidelines you could use to make a magic item that gives you Improved Trip.  Cost would be in the 15-20,000gp range. (10,000 for Improved trip, + 5-10,000 to cover the pre-req feat)

You could use the +2 Staff of Mighty Sweeping (Magic of Faerun, p145) as a guide.  Sweeping is a +1 ability, which makes this the equivalent of a +3 weapon.  Cost is 28,600.  Subtract 18,000 for the +3, and you get 10,600.  Subtract 600 for a masterwork double weapon, and you get an even 10,000gp for the Improved Trip ability.

If you're an aberration with at least 5 HD, you can get it via Alter Self by changing into a Harpoon Spider, but that's probably not what you're looking for... lol.

The Heroics spell could be used to gain Improved Trip if you already had the prereqs from somewhere else (items mentioned, etc).

Wolf Berserker feat lets you ignore the need for Combat Expertise.  Still costs a feat, but at least you can be dumb and still get the feat.
