Anyone know of any homebrew rules for additional diseases/poisons using the Unchained variant?

I still don't get how they rewrote the disease rules entirely yet failed to fix the infamous lack of antibodies problem.

It should be as simple as "Once a character has recovered from a disease, they gain immunity to that disease (though not necessarily different, but mechanically identical, strains found elsewhere)."

That sounds like a very non-fun rule for anyone who specializes in diseases and I'm glad it wasn't included.

1: People specialize in disease?
2: There's very few disease effects open to PCs. The Plague Bringer Alchemist archetype, the obscure Pestilence Bloodline and four spells (all [evil]), one of which causes malnutrition instead of a disease, are all I can find.
3: People who fight PCs rarely live to tell the tale.
4: Just say magical effects that cause disease are a different strain each use.

It's not a common specialization but I've seen builds for it, although more as a sub-specialization in a box of tools and not an outright build focus (unless we're talking about theoretical op builds with unlimited strength).

And if you're coming up with extra rules for edge cases it stops being a simple fix.

Also in real life people can get the same disease more than once in their life so since lifelong immunity isn't automatic why should it be in a game that glosses over a lot of things anyway?

Diseases are much more accessible than youd believe,  check the Plague Powder.

Followers of Urgathoa stay carriers after healed, and there are spells that can immediately trigger any affliction. Buy some crazy Horrific diseases (Horror Adventures), and just spread them like crazy.

Requires minimal investment, just some spells and cash, and the proper deity.

I almost made some of these builds, but never found an appropriate party for it.

edit: here's a couple standouts

Aggravate Affliction
Outbreak
Virulence
Withdraw Affliction
