Ask, and ye shall receive.

Also, Martyr rituals feel weaker than Ritualist ones...

I guess that means I won't do the Ritualist level-by-level analysis until I've done the general ritual overview for all three lists and then I'll compare the three to each other.  Screw looking at spells.  :P

Haha, have fun trying to guess what the hell the power level of the Ritualist and the Martyr turn out to be, since they're such odd classes. At least the Ritual Warrior just hits stuff.

Just be aware this is on hold for me for a bit, I need to get a good backlog of encounters for the campaign, get maps sorted out, and I won't be home all weekend.  :p

I have spare time!

Ritual Warrior Ritual Analysis

Blood Aflame - The Ritualist version says "the rituals..." and the Ritual Warrior version says "the ritual-wielder..."  Please standardize on either generic term or class name.  In fact, this is pretty common when comparing the descriptions in the two lists.  It makes me want to rewrite things.  :p

Blood Dancer - Is there a limit to the number of attacks you can make this way?  Is the range based off of distance from the original target or is it just a range between targets?

Bound Soul Blade - Typo, should say "weapon in a manner ".

Breaker - I assume if I sacrifice a target that has DR/Cold Iron then I ignore the DR/Cold Iron OR Good?

Brume of Broken Blades - Needs the additional halving text from the Ritualist version.

Cadaver Column - Please link the template for ease of reference.

Grasping Hands - Link to template please.

Halo Strike - Creatures adjacent to you or to the target, the language seems a little mixed.

Yes, well, I'll deal with it eventually. Shoosh you :P

Range between targets, and the limit is 1 attack per target. Which means its no good against BBEGs.

Fixed

Yes, because your weapon counts as Cold Iron.

Done

I started getting concerned about Blood Dancer and then saw it is a level 5 ritual gotten at level 17 so it's fine.

And one miss shuts the whole thing down. It's basically a trash cleaner ritual, in the end.

Well I was more thinking about its uses to kill an entire city of commoners, but I'm okay with that being possible as a standard action at level 17 because wizards can do it too.  :P

There are ways around that.   :smirk

But like I said, it's level 17.  I'm less concerned and in the end it isn't that game-shattering.

On its own, looks like a yes.  When comparing it to Ritualist we'll see.  :P

Well, I do know some of the rituals need to be shifted and power adjusted, that's for sure. Have you looked at the Martyr yet?

Oh good. Gives me just enough time to build another Arhosan base class.

BTW, I think there's probably going to be a problem with missing information or wacky information for at least some of the Martyr rituals re: targeting and the like. As a warning.

So, I'm only a week late with this.

Martyr Rituals

Ability Transfer: Seems pretty useless since most Martyr abilities are based around their hp sacrifice.

Burden of Virtue: This is a little too open ended.

Call Boon: I think these are kind of weird for the ritual list, also open ended shenanigans are probably possible but I've never done item abuse.

Chained Body: Reword it to say something like "Every time this creature makes a physical attack (melee or ranged)..."

Entwined Lifeforce: It doesn't match the pattern of the other entwined rituals, I'm not a big fan of it.

Face Thy Punishments: "A bounding box appears around the targeted creature, an area that only it can see that is domed over, creating a sphere from which it cannot depart."  What is this trying to say?

Lift the Mind: What kind of bonus?

Strengthen the Body: What kind of bonus?

Okay, how to Martyrs stay alive?
