Do we know it's trapped? Nordar is actually a decent trapspringer... I just wasn't paying attention IRL... I could try to disarm them...

I recall it being said they were fire-trapped.

Nah, that was another area... although these might be trapped as well...

the orcs mentioned that Ulfe room is traped... but they don;t know what traps since it was meant to stop them from stealing his stuff :p You are in front of room 12.

The firetrap is elsewhere, in room 10, you can see the charred remains on the map even.

Man I say let the box go for it.

Then again, I want Hjalmur to get his karmic justice. Someone took his spot as The Breaker. :P

Well it looks like Hjalmur got his justice :p Still not much for me to respond to, you guys could try apraisal checks to identify the items or you could move on.

Edit: Oh, you can pick two. Nevermind then! Normally I'd say Summon Monster is better unless you have another source of summons but for our particular party we can probably manage without it. Heroism+Elation powerbuffing all the way! Only other one I'd recommend instead of Heroism is the almighty Alter Self. It offers more flexibility for your personal defense and in utility for puzzles, exploration/movement modes and so on.

And not only that, it'll allow my character to have actual cat ears and cat tail instead of just acessories! Sold!

I'm driving up to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving, will be slow / unresponsive for the most part until Sunday evening. Might be able to post in the evenings, might not.

Edit: would Hjalmur be able to recognize the adamantine from his work as a smith?

That's fine and happy turkey day.

Also to identify adamantine with smithing you'd need a forge and to try and work it, basicly an hours long process instead of the few minutes it takes with apraisal. You can of course speed it up bit the penalties to the DC are rather extreme if you want to compress hours of work into minutes.

Alright, nevermind then. Was wondering if it was close enough he might've worked with it before and could recognize it.

you can't take 20 on searching for traps, failure runs the risk that you trigger the trap. you can take 10 or roll.

Hmm... taking 10 isn't good enough for most traps at this level... which means he'd almost certainly just trigger the trap trying to fumble around searching for it... So... I'm kind of liking the whole "melt the room with acid" idea. :p

I forgot the extra sonic damage from Morjhan's aura.
This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 1d4 : 3, total 3

Probably because he forgot to include it in his posts.  :lol

It's still listed in your sheet as active, and since you can keep it up 24/7, I assumed it still applied (since there is literally no reason not to...).

By the way I'm loving loot and his slightly off-kilter reactions :)
