I only allow that version of pounce to work while raging.  No one has complained about it thus far.

Well, I will.  That's freaking horrible.  Not only is rage not something you can do every combat necessarily, it's also super-easy to screw someone out of it, and then by RAW they can't enter a new rage that whole encounter!

There's the issue of player reaction by screwing the character out of a rage.  DM: "The bad guy casts Calm Emotions on you.  You're now out of rage and fatigued." Player: *steely gaze*  "That had better not happen every time.  I played a barbarian to rage and smash dammit!"

How "super easy" is it, really?  I mean, what percentage of monsters have the ability to shut down rage?  Sure, an NPC caster that has studied the party in anticipation of a fight would make sure to have spells ready do this, but most of those spells aren't common outside of such a purpose.

Pretty much any manipulator type monster could shut it down one way or another.
