Ariston interjects, a distasteful look on his face.  "No, not for 'diagnosis'.  These are guests, who seem to be in excellent health... for the moment, at least.  They've come, as I understand it, because of the crater."

As the creature notices Sarai, its beady eyes sparkle with glee as it lets out a joyful shriek. "Human? For me? Yeeeeeeesh, Corpsely you MAY call me IF... you would let me look at you." It walks towards the company and stops in front of Sarai. It sniffs and its mouth once more becomes a large circle while its head turns upside down, apparently it's amazed. "But this one... this one will not ripe... will you? What a SPEEEEEECIMEN! You are faaaaaar, very faaaaaaaar, yeeesh? We protect this one, Ahrrrrissston, much to learn! Khekekekeee."

It takes a few steps to the side to observe the big red man standing next to Sarai. Equally amazed, judging from its face, it takes out a needle and tries to prick it in Urglmek's skin, but it breaks. OOOOOOooooh, what fine craft! Will I ride you, big man?" It takes out a scalpel, but just as it is about to get even closer to Urglmek, it notices Marie hiding behind him. KHEEEEEEEEEEEEEheeeeeee! Vanilla! YEEEEEESSSSH!

Rodric steps between Urglmek/Marie and the...doctor.  "I said no injections!  There will be no 'riding', no cutting, no injecting without their permission.  You already have plenty of...specimens.  Look but don't touch."  Rodric looks to Ariston for support on this, he's already given Sarai up as a lost cause and the others seem too lost to turn to.

Ariston watches the interaction between Human and Sarai and sighs.  "Let them do what as they will.  Human, you are not to ride or otherwise experiment on anyone without permission, understood?  I'm sure Kaytiss wouldn't like it."

Ariston seems uncomfortable giving orders, which is strange given his noble upbringing.  After this statement, he abruptly turns so that he is facing partially away from the group, pulls a small book out of an interior pocket, and starts flipping through it, a frown creasing his brow.

Human looks at Ariston, then turns its head to face Rodric and goes full circle to face Ariston again. Its face is presumable one of puzzlement. "Kaytissssss brings subjects here, not for research ORRRRR BANQUET? What does Kaytissss want from..." it twists its head toward Sarai with the old horrible smile, "...Mr. Corpsely?"

Urglmek stands stupified, with his mouth open in disbelief and a look of horror on his face, during the entire exchange. Finally he mutters"And I thought I'd seen everything..."

Then continues in a more audible voice "You are a... DOCTOR? What do you mean RIDE me?"

As he talks, he leans down and pulls out a rose-colored monocle and holds it up to one eye to inspect the strange, gore-covered creature.

"Oh, you aren't him? A shame; he left when I was only a little girl, and I've missed him so much.

But you are quite the spitting image of him; anyway, I am the Marquess Sarai Eire d'Alhazrad, and I am quite pleased to meet you.

Marie, please introduce yourself to the nice man; I think he likes you, judging on his reaction."

Sarai gathers up the treaty from where she dropped it on the ground, and goes back to reading.

The creature shrieks out of pure amazement, "KHEEEE! The golem speaks! SupeRRRGGB CGGRRRaft indeed. Tell us, red rook, you have a healthy appetite, YEEEESSSH?" It notices Rodric's glare and abruptly drops the subject. "DOCTOR they call me too, yesh. I diagnose and... eGGXTRRact."

"DemaRRGGCKesssss, helloo!" it replies to Sarai while looking the other way, apparently oblivious to human courtesies as well as noble titles. "Man? That concept does not apply to Human, though neeeeither does human! Corpsely I like."
"THISSSSSSS is DemaRRRGCKess' minion?"
it asks while grinning at Marie.

Urglmek looks like he's about to panic and either run away screaming or start berzerking. None of you have ever seen him look quite so unnerved. While beginning to back out of the tent with his hands held open in front of him, he stammers "Golem?! Well.... I... er... not really. What do you mean healthy appetite?"

"Mr. Corpsely is a doctor, Urglmek; he's allowed to be curious about your health.

Marie? What have I told you about your manners?"

Urglmek seems to regain some of his composure simply because he's become accustomed to thinking of Sarai as an authority figure (and he's the kind of guy who is literally programmed to follow orders) and stops backing out of the tent, but he still keeps his eyes on the strange worm-doctor as most people might watch a particularly venomous snake that they'd just discovered in their bedroom.

"Maybe DemaRGCKess will send her minion to me after when she breathes no moooorrRRRe, yeeeeSSSH?"  it says, still grinning at Marie.

It walks towards the apparatus on the right side of the tent. "Now for this," Human holds up the arrowhead and brings it to its mouth. A barbed black tongue protrudes from its mouth and with a loud slurping sound it sucks up the pieces of dwarf covering it. "RRRRRRReport to Kaytiss it has been found, but... needs analysis. Tell Kaytiss the small dwaRRRRves will return, but the big one I must keep for... OBSERRRRRRvation." During the guttural pronunciation of the last word, 'observation', its tongue licks what should be its lips.

Marie looks ready to faint at this point. Blood draining from her face and shaking slightly, she nevertheless manages to stammer out a formal introduction, the curtsey nearly toppling her over.

Rodric turns to Urglmek and comfortingly says, "Don't worry, as long as you're stern with him he usually listens and very rarely tries to actually jab us with anything.  Normally flattery would work but I still haven't figured out what would actually flatter the creature."  He then gives Urglmek a friendly pat on the shoulder.

Rodric then very grudgingly turns to look at Human to see just what it is talking about.  "I...don't even know what that is.  Come with us and you can tell Kaytiss yourself, it isn't as if your patients are going to walk off without you here."  His disarming smile is offset somewhat by the fact that he still isn't really used to dealing with Human.

"See KaytisssSS? YeeeeesssHHHH! I will come." It wraps the arrowhead in a piece of cloth and shoves it up its left sleeve. Then it walks over to the dwarven corpse and rolls up its right sleeve, showing a spiny fleshless arm. With a quick thrust, it digs into the dwarf's chest and after some rummaging, pulls out a bloody organ. "She wants to see this, yeeeeesssh." It sticks the organ in the same sleeve. "I follow RoDGGGRic."

Rodric nods. "Yes, follow me to Kaytiss.  Is everyone ready to go?"  He looks around at the shellshocked newcomers, slightly amused.  He behaves in a manner suggesting that he's ready to just leave them all there in Human's tent, alone with the corpses.  Rodric decides that this probably wouldn't bother Sarai.

Urglmek says "I don't think I've ever been more ready to leave a place... except for that one time I got lost in Sarai's basement..."

Absolutely no one makes eye contact with the group this time, and any crowds melt away in front of them as though by magic. Human's presence seems to prevent anyone from approaching within twenty feet--though maybe that's just because they're too busy scrambling to hide.

Kaytiss takes a steadying breath as the group enters her tent again. "Ah, you're all here. Thank you very much, Ariston." She seems to be making an effort not to look in Human's direction.

Human, oblivious to the dwarfess' contempt of it, walks up to Kaytiss. "KaytisssSSSSS, I have found it, LOOOOOK!" Before she can answer, the glöi reaches in the sleeve of its robe and throws the decomposing liver in her lap, still dripping with dwarven blood and bits. "Do you SSSSSSSSEEEEEEE?"
